Same. It takes a while for UPS to get it into their system, don't worry

Probably won't see anything till tomorrow afternoon. Shipment's are marked as UPS EXPRESS SAVER which is Next-day delivery to major centres by noon.

Hopefully...A couple years ago I used 50% of my RRSP valuation to buy Apple stock, purchased between $90 and $120.
A self directed investment account RRSP and I let over half of it ride on one company - what an incredibly stupid thing to do, right
I wish I'd been a bigger fool and taken out a second mortgage to buy more like I'd contemplated.

The Verge review isn't exactly making me feel great for skipping out on preordering this:

Yes, this display is outrageous. It's stunning. It's incredible. I'm not being hyperbolic or exaggerative when I say it is easily the most beautiful computer display I have ever looked at.

So let's talk LTE for a few minutes here. I see that Telus has LTE in the downtown core. I'd call Telus about this next question, but i have no doubt they would be utterly unable to answer this question on the first try...
If I move the SIM from my existing 3G enabled iPad to neuPad, will I be able to make use of LTE if I'm in coverage? Or does the data plan on Telus need to be changed?
My understanding is that you don't need to do anything - the data plan is the same regardless of the radio network your device can use, but I'm not 100% certain because I'm not super knowledgeable about mobility and networks, carriers, etc.

I believe you need an LTE data plan, they are separately priced and serviced.

You need to do a sim swap. Apple will give you a LTE sim card for free, Telus stores will more than likely charge you (around $10) for it. Your plan will be the same, but you need a LTE sim for the new iPad to pick up 4G where it's available.

Will they let you use a 3G data plan on an LTE SIM?

My understanding is that the plans all stay the same. As of now, you'll need to set up the plan on the Telus website or through a service centre... With iPad 2 you could set up an account directly on it. Still a few unknowns though.

From my knowledge, a LTE plan works for LTE and 3g, but a 3G plan won't get LTE Service.

So does it seem likely I could wander down to a Telus outlet at lunch, get a LTE compatible SIM, and upgrade my existing plan?
I knew I shoulda ordered a Telus SIM with the device

Yes you can do that. Get a LTE sim, upgrade your plan to LTE, and it'll work with both LTE and 3G.

That's true. it's a new plan, but the pricing structures, at least for now, mirror each other. not enough coverage for any of these companies to make someone pay more.
