With both teams scoring 32 wins in 69 tries I doubt anyone has claims to bragging rights

I'm pretty sure we can keep Montreal near the bottom now.
EDIT: Any updates, alphabetically?

The way the Flames owned the Jets....yes the bragging rights are all Calgary's.

How do you forget Nickelback?
Put them right above the Oilers and this list is a dandy.

Standings after March 23, 2012:
1. Vancouver (44-21-9)
2. Ottawa (37-27-10)
3. Calgary (34-26-15)
4. Winnipeg (35-31-8)
5. Toronto (33-34-8)
6. Montreal (28-33-13)
7. Edmonton (29-36-9)
Looks like most of the Canadian teams have been stuck in mediocrity this month. The Flames have cooled down considerably after their 5 game winning streak.

Ranking the Canadian teams? Ok I'll bite...
RANKING OF CANADIAN TEAMS IN TERMS OF RESPECT FOR THE FRANCHISES
1. Montreal...Hate 'em, but history is on their side...Dominant for the first full decade of my NHL fandom.
2. Calgary...A lunch pail/working class group for decades....and a nod to my fine Flame fan hosts here.
3. Edmonton...Again, cannot argue with the run of success of the the Gretzky/Messier/Fuhr era...tough times lately, though.
4. Toronto...A "cursed" franchise...but, one with longevity and a rich lore...I got to see a lot of them in the 60's
5. Ottawa...(as a 'Hawk fan, I'll admit that I see so little of the Sens, an Eastern conference Canadian team, that I can't really comment about them!)
6. Winnepeg...hoping for Pegger fans to be rewarded with some success...they waited a long time for a team, and they deserved one MUCH more than the likes of Atlanta, Tampa, (or Phoenix!) But the legacy of this team has just begun.
666. Vancouver...From the top to the bottom this franchise should be an embarrasment to the fans of BC. From soccer like flopping tactics, to a GM that openly lobbies for sympathetic officiating via the press, to a percieved sense of entitlement, to having an embarrassment like Burrows on the roster, to AV's perpetual "victim" press conferences, not to mention having had one of the ugliest Jerseys in Hockey history...there is so much that opposing fans have to dislike about this franchise!

Gotta feel sorry for class guys like Malhotra, Salo, Schneider, Higgins, Hamhuis etc that constantly clumped together with guys like Burrows.

カナダ人です Perhaps it's unfair to those you mention, but, guilt by association...it is the diving antics, and the crud pulled by guys like Burrows that non-Canuck fans notice and remember...

The Canucks are on a roll heading to the playoffs. Ottawa is a lock for the post season. The Jets and Flames both tanked, and will sadly miss the post season. While the Oilers, Leafs, and Habs continue to battle for a high draft pick.

5 of the 7 Canadian teams are within the top 11 picks. Really sad when you think about it.

I'm intrigued to see how Montreal and Toronto each handle the offseason, they have different needs but I think Montreal is actually in a better position as hard as that is to believe.

Rather than create a new thread, I am simply going to bump this thread up. For the 2013 NHL season, here are my predictions:
1. Vancouver
2. Ottawa
3. Edmonton
4. Montreal
5. Winnipeg
6. Calgary
7. Toronto
