Default What's Occupying That CD/MP3 Player of Yours?

Given the heated debates raging in the Juno thread, I'm curious what's playing on the personal stereo!

Myself? Usually a range of the following:

The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself
Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3
Iron & Wine - In The Reins
A mix CD from Paste Magazine
The Decemberists - Piqare..however you spell it
Some songs by Josh Ritter
Pocket Dwellers - Digitally Organic
Moneen - Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now?
and
Nightwish - the newest one whos title escapes me

I only use my computer to listen to music. I have every Metallica, Disturbed, White Zombie, and Rob Zombie album on it as well as four of Billy Idol's heavy songs from his new album. I play everything on shuffle but since Metallica has the most albums they usually dominate it.

I'm going to start going through all my MP3's the next little while and deleting any crap/screwed up songs etc..

I actually had a problem with a HDD that ended up either being a HDD failure or virus. I think HDD failure.. Anyway I'll be listening to a song or CD and suddenly there is a portion of it which is from another song somewhere else on my HDD. I can isolate the song, move it to a CD, mp3 player and it's dtill done for, suddenly there is 15 seconds of some random part of some random song.. So it's going to make my chore painful.

I'll Start with "A" and add a new album every time I'm certain it works.

213 - The Hard Way, February 23 2006
A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders, February 23 2006

Check out 'Athlete', they are a very good up and coming band. Their 2nd album TOURIST has been out a while now. They are in the mould of Coldplay/Snow Patrol/Radiohead and other UK bands, and could become a household name in the next year or so.

I've pimped Audioscrobbler a lot, but it's a great plug-in to have and a great site to use to keep track of your music and present charts according to the music you listen to. Not sure if anyone on CP uses it, but if so, let me know. I'd like to add you to my friends list. I'm always looking to broaden my musical horizons.
