Sounds like the Riders are pouring some money into Mosaic for additional seating. First phase seems like it will be around after the Grey Cup.

Mosaic is a dump, it needs to be replaced badly.

I'm glad that replacement is still the goal.

It looks bad on TV but it's even dumpier in person, if at all possible. To sum up the stadium, it's first set of bleachers were built 100 years ago and they have incrementally added/replaced/renovated bleachers at minimal cost since then to get up to the current capacity. The newest section is really a temporary set of metal benches extended on one side of the stadium that have been made semi-perminent with old conklin midway trailers to serve as concessions for that section. They absolutely need a new stadium one way or another, no amount of upgrades can fix Mosaic. That said I think a retractible roof stadium would be a white elephant of government largesse that's only going to be made possible by a fortunate reversal of economic fortunes combined with years of built up inferiority complexes.

I think the goal for these temp seats is to increase revenue in order to help build a new stadium. Corporate boxes will help, but a new facility for the Riders is sorely lacking. I hate the team with a passion, but I won't deny that a new stadium would be beneficial to the overall growth of the league. ...

Also, here's some photos:

TORONTO -The Canadian Football League Rules Committee will recommend to the Board of Governors that all scoring plays be subject to review by the replay official in the Command Centre. This would include all touchdowns, field goals, converts, singles and safety touches.

The Rules Committee is also continuing to address player safety through proposed rule changes and specifically address the safety concern of players helmets coming off during play. The Committee will propose the following rules:

I like the helmet rules. I think they make a lot of sense. Still not the biggest fan of reviewing they scoring play but it's not a big deal

Ha. I got a Nik Lewis jersey after he won Rookie of the Year in 2004 and it's served me well ever since. Sorry, but you're not allowed to get his name on your jersey.

No worries there haha too common

I did get a game worn Hughes and Raymond at the 2011 locker room sale so maybe my luck is turning, with both of them re-signing

I will say i'm a little surprised by the release of Baggs. If I remember correctly he was a little overpaid but I believe he can still be a difference maker

Probably will sign with riders or Eskimos, god forbid the stamps try to improve the pass rush.
