If you are spending $400 on a vacuum, you better be getting a Dyson or a BJ with it.

I will second the PVR though. Without a doubt the most life altering piece of equipment I have ever purchased. I never care when a show is on, I just sit down when I have time and there is always exactly what I want to watch on TV.

Our cat is indoor only so we benefit year round. One of the most disgusting things in life is a litter box so it was well worth the $300 to us.

This is the most useful tool that I have ever owned.

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...086&CatId=7094

It's for cleaning electronics but I've cleaned the house, cleaned the car, cleaned pets, cleaned engines, cleaned appliances, cleaned all sorts of mechanical devices, inflated beds, inflated balls, inflated boats, inflated tires, inflated blow-up dolls, etc. It's a hand-held, just plug it in air compressor that packs a huge .75 HP punch.

PVRs are so 2000. I can't believe you guys love them so much. On-demand viewing is the only way to go. We cancelled cable over a year ago and everything I watch is either through Netflix, iTunes, the Sony store on PS3, or straight from the Internet (like cbc.ca, etc.).

One of these things is not like the other, and certainly not compatible with "an easier life".

I'll second the PVR, and add Dropbox for making my life easier.

I'm going to go with my automatic car starter.

Also, torrents.

I was referring to the anatomical areas that don't think or speak.

Please tell me where you are meeting these women that actually manage to reduce stress in your life.

Dysons don't lose suction, so there's no reason you can't get both

Vitamin B-complex. Started taking them about summer time last year, I dont take them every day but at least 4-5 times per week. Since then I notice I have more energy, I wake up refreshed rather then feeling burnt out. High metabolism for me means I have a hard time putting on weight and now im actually gaining some. Makes a lot of things seem easier, stress easier to deal with or push away. Mind seems to think quicker at times. I feel like I actually digest food properly. All in all I can think of many ways a simple vitamin has made my life easier.

I don't know about "easier", but definitely "more enjoyable":
http://www.h2oaudio.com/nataliecoughlin.php

Other than being stopped by security at the airport that never saw one of these before and kept asking what it was and how it worked and wanted me to demonstrate how it worked, blah, blah, blah....

I'm going to say....the internet. Life before the internet was not as good. Being limited to what DJs and MuchMusic gave you for music selection. A total lack of information. Imagine having to look up facts in physical encycolpedias? Oh, and don't get me started on the porno selection pre-internet.

Planning a vacation... the more in advance the better- cause even though life sucks now, you can look forward to the trip in July or August when life will be awesome for 2-3 weeks... then you come home and life sucks again and you're back to fighting for room on the bed thanks to the wife's damn cat!?!

Seconded for PVR. I'm too lazy to try to make sure I'm home at such & such a time each week to follow a series, and because of it, hadn't followed a show week to week since Seinfeld ended.

But since getting PVR last year, I'm now up on Parks & Rec, American Dad, The League, Its Always Sunny, and a couple others. I seriously never even knew how good modern sitcoms had become. Lets just say I owe it all to a little black box..

Retirement - especially when you can afford it. (BTW - I'm not quite there yet, but I can see the finish line from where I'm standing).
