Are you sure it's not starting a thread that's already been done?

My most embarrassing post was when someone did some Chuck Norris jokes but used Ken King's name instead. I was new to online forums and thought he was just ripping off jokes, so I pointed it out. Little did I know I was the only one who didn't get the joke.

The name was Natalie Gulbis from the post you're thinking of and the picture is when she's stretching by her golf bag.

I'm embarrassed to be a member of the board when I see racist posts.

I didn't see it the same way. I made a similar comment after, and the comments were maiking fun of the the way things were back then.

If anything the comments were making fun of how stupid people were for the way they treated black people back then. At least that was the driving force behind my comment.

Everyone knows my famous thread
"Do you consider your mortgage debt"
I did not explain in enough depth that I came across as a complete idiot.
Another thread was started just before mine stating some ridiculous number of early 20's canadians felt they would be debt free by 30. I was boggled by this and assumed that they did not include a mortgage as debt in the poll (as it is one of the safer debts world wide). I created a thread and asked if you saw your mortgage as debt to which results were 80% in favor with many negative comments towards myself. I took that one on the chin, perhaps lost a few potential clientele and am thinking three times before pressing post reply.

If it helps, your comments created a very fun thread for the rest of us to read.

In fairness, I thought BlackArcher might be a female though (because of custom user title, "likes to dye HER hair" or something like that)

That was exactly it. I can't believe anyone would take that seriously.

Mine was some confusion over a comment Fotze made and my general ignorance of racist terms for various groups.

After losing to Chicago in the playoffs, I jokingly suggested bringing back Martin Gelinas...but forgot to make the sarcasm obvious.

I've made lots ..and I use the excuse that I was tired .
I guess my phone sex thread could be considered embarrassing. It was meant to be kind of an empirical question. I didn't expect the character assassination that followed.
Anyway, there's going to be a reality show about phone sex work down here. There have also been several segments about it on Good Morning America and other news/talk shows. The PSOs I know from forums and such are enraged about these things.

Oh, and there was the post I made in TehBandwaggoners racism thread. I used the word "Negro" because that's the term the guy in question used for himself. I just posted without acknowledging there's no way you guys would know that. Ooops.

Well, if any of my screw ups gave some one a good laugh , that's cool!

The night of the 2008 federal election, I bet $100 that the Liberals would win more than the 77 seats they garnered that night in the next election, whenever that may be. (in 2011 they got 34)

I don't know if I was embarrassed by this thread:
http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthr...surance&page=3
Probably more puzzled than anything.

My lowest (perhaps greatest?) moment on this site was when I posted about leaving my empties for the garbage men (at Christmas) as some kind of tip. I actually thought I was doing something awesome. When I heard the garbage truck come down my street I spied from my window as the garbage guy grabbed the bottles/cans and chucked them in with the rest of the trash.
