How does one send money via e-mail, as people here seem to be?
Have two dogs of my own (Chocolate Lab & Rottie Shepard cross), and love animals/pets.
Would love help out here.

Log into you online bank account, and click on transfers, and see if you have the interac email transfer option. It is pretty straight forward, you just need to key in your email, and phone #. Then you just need to get mayers cell phone # and email address to complete the transaction. It has all but killed paypal for me. The transfers are instant.

1st calgary. It sends a text alert to the recipient when it is sent, an another to me when they deposit the money. You don't have to use it, but I do whenever I send one, and send the password to get the money via text. Just a little extra security in my eyes.

RBC needs their email, name, security question and answer that you choose.
I made him answer that the Flames were his true love. (not a true story)

Yup, I used RBC for my donation to Mayer. Instant and easy. E-mail confirmation and all.
I'm glad to see that Buddy is doing well, and will make a full recovery. And I can't believe how much CP has raised for him! Next to the Wannamaker thread, this one is one is in the top 3 for me for this year...so far.

It blows me away the resiliency of dogs. Buddy breaks his femur, and pelvis, goes through major surgery, and he's already walking, and just chillin on the couch waiting to heal up.
Human, you are in the hospital for a month, and on 15 different painkillers, amd your life is never the same.
Buddy is a really friendly looking dog.

He is a really great dog. Although he is a little nervous with new people at first, after about a minute he is all good. He just wants to be around people.

I know this is a little late, Kind of wish I got here sooner, but here is a little tidbit of information our old vet gave us...
We were living in Red Deer at the time (Calgary now) and she said that if we had to get any vet work done in Calgary, go to one of the smaller outskirt towns that have vets.
Apparently Calgary is the most expensive City in North America to get work done at the Vet...
I can somewhat substantiate this, as we had to rush our little toy poodle to the hospital once. She sprained all of her front toes and we thought they were broken!

Hey everyone,
This is Mrs. Mayer. I just wanted to say thank you with my whole heart for your support. I cannot believe this is all happening right in front of our eyes. It's unreal. I can't express my amazement and gratitude to you guys enough. I am originally from B.C. and just moved to Calgary after we got married a few months ago, so of course I'm also a big Canucks fan. But you guys have made me so proud to call Calgary my home.
We cannot wait to pay this forward in every way that we can. God bless! (And please don't tell my husband that I hacked into his account and wrote this).

Buddy is a Flames fan, and that's the most important thing.
BTW I had to guess at Erik's last name (based on his email address) so let me know if I guessed wrong and the email transfer didn't work.

Add another $390 to the total. Thanks to Makarov, parch, bagofpucks and linecook.
linecook and his family graciously donated $100 in memory of their dog Derby who passed in a tragic accident recently. To be going through this kind of pain and still be willing to help out in this way, I can't even imagine. Thank you so much.
This recent total also included a $225 donation from someone wishing to stay anonymous. Thank you! My wife and I were quite amazed when that came in.
