Personally, I just let time do the work. The sooner you break the bat in, the sooner you wear it out. And remember as well, it is only composite bats that you would break in anyways.

But if you do want to break it in sooner, hit regular balls. Those plastic/rubber ones at the cages won't do much if anything. If you want to be anal about it, make sure you rotate the bat a bit after each contact. Some bats have numbers around them so assist doing this. The idea is to get a more even wear pattern.

An illegal way to break the bat in is to have it rolled. I do NOT condone that. It is a good way of losing your bat if someone inspects it at a tournament. They can confiscate it from you...

All good bats. The Maxload isn't ASA approved (if that matters) while I believe the other two are. I hit a Miken myself, the old 585. To me it still feels better than most of the new ones. And that is key. If you can demo each of these first, all the better.

Also, check out different weights. Most common is 28 oz, but some people prefer 27s or 30s. And lastly, check out the grips. Although you can regrip a bat, it is nice if the original one is something you like. I can't stand the rubber bubble type grips. I have regripped brand new bats because of this.

You hosting an inaugural Jersey exhibition at Pete's once they come in? Gotta justify our sponsorship!
Who are you waiting for? Are people trying to lose weight before we order the jerseys or what?

			yep!!
Heather's opinion is that they are a "reddish" orange. It't the same colour of the sample jersey that I had. I guess I didnt specify red..... Sorry hopefully they are still okay with everyone.

Well, if they're too orange we may have to alter our affiliation to the Philadelphia Flyers....
