Default O Canada, can we have Alberta?

Pretty cool article on Alberta's potential to be the king of the world.

It doesn't sound to me like Alberta will be a king as much as it does a target for a large scale hostile takeover bid... personally I'd rather have Canadians owning these companies.

Canadian can own the companies and many do and we'll also get huge royalties from the extraction for the province and the feds tax the companies' profits. What more else do you want? Your statement is Ironic as you are expousing the same old rhetoric that started the NEP. That worked out well for Canadians eh?

What? You lost me... I don't want anything else. I know that Canadians CAN own companies... I was expressing concern that they WON'T own them in the near future.

I actually thought that our royalties are pretty small compared to what a lot of other countires are collecting.
