Foosball episode is one of the worst, in my opinion. The best way to get in to it is to watch the first 3-4 episodes in order, then see what you think. Season 3 Christmas episode was brilliant, some of the best comedy I've ever seen.

Couldn't disagree more, Jeff Winger is one of the best comedy-characters ever created. I love it when he catches Abed & Troy 'crunking', and proceeds to show them how it's done.

Community is one of the best written sitcoms I've ever seen. Brilliant is out of place when describing it.

The S2 halloween epi and both the paintball ones are legendary in the circles I run in.

Oh, I must have been thinking of someone else, my mistake.

Episodes to check out, the first Paintball episode (3rd last ep. of season 1). The multiple dimensions one was hilarious. Beginning Pottery, the halloween eps.

The show plays on A LOT (basically all) pop-culture references; Abed only talks in movie/tv references. You should try the show from the beginning so you can understand each character, then the rest of the show would make more sense.

The best episode from this season has been the one where the Dean has to make a new video for the school to promote it to students looking to attend. Forget what the ep. was called, but it was hilarious.

Definitely a ton of pop-culture references, and it references itself a lot as well, so watching it in order is highly recommended (although I was fed Xmas season 3, and all the paintball episodes as a primer, and that sucked me right in).

An example of the type of subtlety this show can have.

If you say Beetlejuice three times, he appears:

(These are clips from three episodes over three seasons)

One of my favourites is the chicken strips episode. And any episode with Leonard in it. That guy is gold haha

All the more subtle since the 3rd one was a halloween episode. Just watched the 2 part season 2 paintball finale again. How great. The conspiracy theory and chicken strips ones are high on my list too.

Who will die (please not Magnitude)?

Quote:
There was sadness on the set of NBC's Community when a familiar face learned his time at Greendale Community College will soon come to a sudden end.

"A character from the show will die," reveals star Joel McHale. He says the victim, although probably not one of the comedy's main stars, is "someone you've seen a lot. And he dies in the mid-afternoon."

I'm thinking someone along the lines of Fat Neil or Starburns.

My guess would be Leonard.

Any return date announced yet?

Magnitude gets pop-popped? Not so sure about it. He said it's "someone you've seen a lot", so I narrow it down to:

- Leonard (the old guy)
- Starburns
- Senőr Chang

My money is on Leonard. Given the show's formula, it would make sense that Leonard would pass away and then lead the group to reflect on their interactions with him and coping with loss.

Leonard is one of the best minor characters, if they did a "reflection" episode made up of entirely new interactions with Leonard that we never saw before it would be great (although the concept borrows heavily from the flashback episode they did when every flashback was something we had never seen).

I'm thinking Leonard too, but I hope not. The best jokes are all at Leonard's expense.

Ken Jeong is one of the main cast members. You'll see his name in the opening credits

My money is on the mascot, the Human Being
