I find that I can't really cheer for other English teams. I think its because of the rivalry between my friends who cheer for Arsenal, Chelsea etc. I don't really watch much of other leagues, so I am mostly neutral towards the likes of AC Milan or Bayern Munich. I always like to see Barcelona and Real Madrid lose though. Thats what has become of my Champions League viewing now since my own team doesn't participate in it anymore

Ditto, but being of German descent and having family in Munich I can honestly cheer for Bayern. Its not the same as cheering for Liverpool though, get back into Europe guys.

Arsenal are shocking this year. They remind me a lot of us when Rafa left. Things just going wrong all over the pitch and just bad investment.

Not this Sunday. League Cup Final is the following Sunday. We've got Brighton in the FA cup this Sunday.

At least they got the away goal, that might help them, they're not as done as Arsenal.

Sky commentary is a joke. Somehow, both Arsenal and Chelsea "deserved" a better scoreline. And somehow, both Napoli and AC Milan "aren't great teams."

Such ignorant commentary, I'll be glad if all the English clubs are eliminated.

Well, I didnt hear the commentary, and I didnt get to watch this match, but theres no way Arsenal deserved a better scoreline, Allegri even commented that he felt Milan should have scored a few more, and he was probably right.

No Arsenal fan will defend that game, they were terrible and Milan came out flying.

As for this match, well City were no match for Napoli so that should say something about the pedigree of that team. Edinson Cavani has been spectacular the last couple years.

While the Gunnars definitely did not deserve a better scoreline, the score was misleading as, to be honest, AC is not a very good team. With the way Arsenal played last week Swansea or even Stoke could have hit us for four or five.

What makes you think that AC arent a very good team? They're top of the Serie A table a full 13 points higher than Napoli who just brushed aside Chelsea.

Just because they arent English doesnt mean they arent any good.

I haven't been able to watch much UEFA this year, but I was very impressed with Lavezzi. Unlike his team-mates, he played through contact, rather than looking to simulate. Why was that defender wearing a hair-net? To keep his head wound dressing intact? He was one of the worst actors.

Fashion statement!

Yes, in order to keep the bandages intact and still head the ball without bleeding all over the place.

An opponent barely brushed his face, and he crumpled to the ground holding his face. Chelsea continued to play on and nearly had a scoring chance while he pretended to be hurt. I like that ref.

From what I've seen of them, they don't look that strong. It has nothing to do with the country they are from but rather the players they have.

Alright, whatever you say. I look at AC's roster and I see a lot of quality players. Probably more than Arsenal can claim to have.

And does Arsenal having a weak squad preclude AC from having a weak squad as well?

Fair enough, I see AC as having one of their strongest squads in quite some time, I think they could give most EPL teams a run for their money.

Good, soccer refs are getting better and better as that.

Yes. Milan played two great matches against Barcelona in the group stage. 2-2 and 2-3.

It would be fun it they met in the final.
