I hear the prime rib is delectable. Just make sure you have a 20 to slip the doorman.

There's an Austrian restaurant in Radium that was quite good the last time I went. It's called Helna's Stube
http://www.helnas.com/
for something closer to Invermere there's always the Black Forest, but in my mind I would just drive 10 extra minutes north and go to Helna's.

+1 for Helna's so good.

Also if you're looking for pubfare to break up your dining experience defiantly check out Ray Rays by Kinsmen Beach.

Is that the place down by where those new condos were put up a few years back? If so, yes...I've been there. Good grub!

Yeah, on the other side of downtown where mostly townies hang out. I went to beach there once in high school and got stared down.
Gorby pride!

If you want great pizza: Peppi's Pizzeria. Right in the town of Invermere.

I ate there back in 1995 - it was excellent then. Was curious how it has held up...

Helnas for sure in radium.
One place I would highly recommend in invermere is portabella (pretty sure its still there). More of a fine dining type place, but very good.
Would also recommend storm mountain lodge for lunch/dinner. Its further back along hwy 93, closer to the turnoff fom hwy 1. Would have to stop along the way out, assuming u are coming from cgy.

Reason: Portabella, not portabello

I used to live in Cranbrook and sometimes, just for fun, I'd drive to Invermere just to have Huckleberry's breakfast. Sooooo delish.
