WoW Vanilla (1.12) Server

Basically, this dude completely set up a working vanilla WoW 1.12.1 server. There's a few bugs here and there, but they've been quickly addressed so far and there's usually a ton of people online at any given time. BGs work also, and there's actually a sense of community for the server which is completely absent in live.

World PvP is pretty amazing and there's no shortage of people to kill regardless of where you're at. You can choose to level if you want, but if you don't want to go through the tedious grind you can choose to automatically be leveled to 49 (you're given a set of gear meant for that level and a free level 40 mount/training).

For the last 11 levels you can choose to grant your character 5x the amount of experience which makes it really easy. There's always people looking for groups for different instances and BGs (WSG/AB/AV) are very active.

So, does it being patch 1.12 mean they have Original Naxxramas?

Naxx hasn't started yet. The AQ gates are opening, and most people aren't even geared up to start ZG yet.

It'd be fun for a bit, relive where it started for many players. But when it doesn't go anywhere, it will cease being fun. The downside of it going no where is you know where the end is.

Still... can probably eat up 6 months without breaking a sweat before it gets boring.

I ran MC in vanilla for 18 months once a week, I could do more than 6 months ... especially if AQ40 and Naxx are there.

I could do it for 18 months if there was a pay-off. If I knew the gear I got in Naxx paid off at somepoint.
