This Soviet guy at least went through WW II so he earned his medals. The NK guys (especially those under 80) got theirs for burying farmers in mass graves...

When I read a headline (or thread as it may be) like this one, the vision that flashes through my mind is a Korean version of the deranged Greg Stillson (Martin Sheen) in the movie The Dead Zone screaming 'let the missles fly!' because some even more insane general has deposed the dictator de jour and needs to right some wrongs.

The most interesting thing to come out of this so far? Apparently the Chinese have a Chinese knock-off of twitter! Wiebo, it's like a Pratta purse or a Suny TV!

The U.S. intelligence community has found no evidence to suggest North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is dead, a senior U.S. official said Friday following posts on China's version of Twitter that claimed Kim had been assassinated while in Beijing.

U.S. intelligence officials have been looking into such rumors for more than a week, according to the official, who has direct knowledge of the latest U.S. analysis.
They've been looking into his death for more than a week?

If it was Airdrie, are you sure he wasn't axe murdered?

They don't go into specific, but it seems the rumours were caused by a birthday party for the late Kim Jong-il. Is any other site reporting that?

EDIT (Yes, I'm aware it gives a link to Gawker)

Seems strange to have a birthday party for a dead guy six days before his actual birthday.
