I really wasn't trying to be witty. From what I understand, they really, really like that delectable, delicious, savory, dish of the gods.......

(BRB, going to Rajdoot for the lunch buffet.)

edit: What joke did I tell that went over my own head?

I wish I could draw. I'd draw Mohammed curled up on the couch with his dog, eyes wide and tail wagging as Mohammed opens the jar of peanut butter...

My issue is these. The Muslim Doctrine doesn't embrace the philosophy of live and let live. To them, it seems like it is my way, or the highway.

I am an Atheist, but at the same time, can't hold someones beliefs against them. Each to their own. Some people get true fulfillment and inner peace out of religion, and how can you take that away from them.

However, Islam, seemingly just wants everything and anyone that doesn't fall into their belief system, to die a horrible torturous death.

Interestingly enough, around the same time my dog declared a jihad on Muslims.

Yeah, at least Christianity-for the most part, in the mainstream-says you get your punishment in hell.
Or did i just put my foot in my mouth here. i'm aware there are radical Christians but i haven't heard any go after dogs.

It appears the words of this politician were taken out of context.

http://islamineurope.blogspot.com/20...s-dog-ban.html

During a debate last week about the municipal policy regarding animals, Küçük said that he thinks it's pitiful that dogs are sometimes shut in an apartment for 23 hours a day.

Küçük says that the party is not proposing to ban ownership of dogs. Küçük was not available for comment over the weekend.

hmmm...maybe dogs should wear barkas? would that work?

No, most Christians seem to prefer to go after gay people rather than dogs. Very noble. (Of course, I'm not saying that there is any shortage of homophobia among conservative muslim communities either.)

I haven't seen any indication these calls for banning dogs are in any way representative of mainstream Islam in the Netherlands. Indeed, all we have is an uncorroborated report from a conservative, islamaphobic source about one supposed Dutch politicial, and an inflamatory, hyperbolic thread title.

Religion is stupid, but so is alarmist, xenophobic journalism.

Ahhhh, political correctness... You can hate religion, but you have to hate them all equally.

Butter Chicken is an Indian dish. The religion of India is Hinduism, not Islam.

You basically made the: "well they all look and eat the same" mistake which led to many Indians and Sikhs actually getting attacked and killed in the US by redneck Islamophobes thinking that brown people = Muslims.
