UPDATE: Thank you CP. I know this seemed short lived but I resorted here after stressing and thinking about my this non-stop for a few days. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.

Stefan contacted his wife and is home safe. I wish I could divulge more info but for my family's privacy I am going to leave it at that.

My cousin has been missing since Sunday morning. My family is growing more and more worried about him. He lives in Elgin in Calgary, and has family in Okotoks where he spent lots of time.

He is 29 years old, 6'3" and about 155lbs. He was last seen wearing black, gray and red Vans shoes, blue jeans, a gray t...-shirt with a red Thundercats logo and a black Carhartt jacket with a Canem Electric logo.

Stefan is missing 3/4 of his right index finger.

He drives a silver Mazda 2 with a white Transformers Autobot symbol under the back window. His license plate is EJX510.

If you see Stefan please contact the Police. He has been reported missing Canada Wide. You might have seen the posts on Facebook.

Please keep an eye out for him, and please like or share this page with as many people as possible. I think the more people who are aware may help us.

Is that a newer model of car? I google-imaged it and it only showed new ones.

There's a photo on the Facebook group that looks like it is a pretty new car. If I am not mistaken, the Mazda 2 has only been made here for a couple of years.

That is terrible and I hope everything turns out to be okay. I'm assuming that the police have pulled his cellphone records in case his phone has been used recently? Or any bank transactions?

I know its a long shot, but my smartphone has an app where if it's lost I can send it a message and it shows me the location on Googlemaps. Maybe that? Please keep us updated.

I have about 300 clients I scanned your info and will email it as they won't mind. In the meanwhile I will keep my eye open for that car. The logo will help.

They did try his cell phone the first day or two before this became more serious, but it has since been turned off or is not charged. They can't triangulate it when it is off unfortunately.

The police are looking at every avenue to find him, bank statements, phone logs, etc. They are taking this very seriously.

I live in Elgin as well, and have posted it on my Facebook and got my wife to do the same. I know she has dozens of friends in the area so it will reach a lot of stay at home mom's etc who are out and about in the community.

I'm guessing someone has obviously retraced the most likely route he would have taken home that day from Elgin to Okotoks? Maybe he turned off to change a flat, got stuck, medical emergency etc etc...

His family is spread throughout the east side, his wife and brother are north by the A&W.

I think he may be more in the rural areas... 4 days is a lot of time depending on what caused the disappearance.

Tell me to f' off if I'm asking something you're not comfortable answering but is there a history of mental illness that might have caused him to wander off/run away? Or any relations to criminal activity that might be related to his disappearance?

Not that it should matter because getting him back to his family is most important but it's a little scary that someone from my neighbourhood and around my age, just disappears.
