What pisses me off is that all we're going to here now is how "great" Eli Manning is. Good god Peyton is 10x better and I despise the Colts.

I did want to give credit to Gronkowski. He tried playing when he probably shouldn't. Same thing happened to Freeney and his broken ankle the last time they were in the SB.

How did the refs help the giants? They arguably missed two PI calls against the pats otherwise it was a very well reffed game

can you imagine if he had made that catch at the end there on the hail mary- He has a great future imo. curious to see what happens with Welker here with contract talks. It may sound crazy, but that missed catch may cost him a lot in guaranteed money.

Twelve times I've interviewed the losing manager of a post-season series for Fox. Not once has a manager even tried to duck out. #Belichick

How was that a bad call? In the pocket, no receiver within 20 yards. Textbook grounding call

What's hard to understand? Intentional grounding in the endzone is a safety. Brady was clearly in the endzone and there was no reciever within 20 yards of the ball as he was being pressured.

It was a clean game and easy to ref. I think I could have reffed that game

Why not? He is one of the top 5-6 QB's in the NFL.
Rodgers, Brees, P. Manning, Brady, E. Manning in no particular order are the top 5 on my list of QB's.

My hatred towards the Giants knows no limits. I wish them nothing but the worst. Great season New England. It's a shame we didn't win another for Myra, but we're still better than 30 other teams. Thank you Brady for another great year of football. Welker, you dropped your way out of New England. Best of luck wherever you end up. I still stand by my comments on the reffing. That's all I have to say.

I don't follow the nfl really closely, so perhaps I am out to lunch on this, but have the pats not gotten in the colts way several times in Peyton's career, and yet Eli has beat them twice when it mattered most.

I am seeing a lot of comments online about how great the halftime show was.
Maybe it is because I am not an old man so I don't have rose colored glasses about Madonna but I thought the halftime show sucked.
People I was with agreed.
Bad music, crap "dancing" and cheezy effects don't make a great halftime show for me but maybe I am missing something. (Also halftime shows are obviously no longer targeting the 18-25 male demographic that actually watches the game anymore.)

So glad the Giants survived the 2 bad drives to end and start the halves. Way to go Eli on ring #2! Prove the haters wrong one ring at a time.

I don't think the Pats have beaten them that many times in the play-offs (maybe once or twice) and the Colts have definitely been tripped up by teams like the Chargers, Steelers, Jets in the play-offs as well as the Pats. Also, beat the Pats the year they won the Super Bowl if I remember correctly.
