Of course not. I'm not that slow. Of course he's just another tin pot dictator like Gahaffi etc.

Just giving an example of how the votes were counted in the election. Of course it was rigged to give Ahmadinejad the victory even though it's more likely that he only got about 33-40% of the vote not whatever they claimed.

I was just giving a slight bit of insight that not all the people in Iran are like the nutjob and all the other nutjobs in power, and that a slight majority (or more) are actually more like any other country in that region of those that are more open societies.

So you think that an attack that would have the effect of setting off a nuclear war is good how exactly?

This isn't my solution, it's Israel's solution. If it works then great. If they stand around and let ###### Ahmedinijad build more nukes it will only be bad news for the West.

it's ok for a bunch of the other ######s to have nukes, but not iran?

you want to eliminate iran as a possible terrorist threat? then the americans and allies should stop building and maintaining the multiple armed forces bases across the middle east and forcing their 'freedom' on the populace.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I hate both Israel and Iran, but Israel doesn't want to attack the west (where I live conveniently) so I'm on there side for this one.

so, you hate your friend is what you're saying. choosing sides is not the best way to start co-operating on this planet.

just a guess, but you watch way too much television. thirsty for more cool-aid?

I must have missed the memo where my opinion made any difference on the outcome of this planet.

I think they will if they think the threat is real. They've done it in the past, so I don't see why they wouldn't again. Iran's neighbours won't mind that much either.

What's the worst that can happen if Israel does do it, as opposed to if they don't? Neither situation is great to be in, but if I am worried about the future of Israel, then I think they have to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities.

Leave him be, he's in a special mood today.

Israel needs to prepare itself for the possibility of an attack. Do I think they will actually go ahead an pull the trigger on that attack? Past history would suggest that when faced with decisions like this Israel has chosen to punch first, punch hard and ask questions later.

In my opinion, both countries are run by whacko nutjobs. If they want to fight each other, I say they are more than welcome to. Chances are they destroy one of them and the other one will get a serious ass kicking. All fine by me.

What is your opinion about the millions of civilians who will die needlessly in such a conflict?

Well, that's the only down side to all this, is the civilian casualties. It's sad really, but that's the end result in a war I guess. Still, if two countries were to go to war, I would prefer their leaders be blood thirsty monkeys so at least we know one of them can get taken out.

If Iran retaliated against an Israeli airstrike you can forget about fiscal prudence in the United States. Not that there was any to begin with.

Israel has been doing bomb runs into Iran for years, it won't stop now. Any country that needs their asses kicked back into reality it's israel......

israel will keep on doing it's selective targets and not with nukes, if they used nukes israel would be blown off the map not iran.

I'll find the articles if I can, but I'd read reports on this a couple of weeks ago that concluded that an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities would set them back in the neighbourhood of a few months, not a few years. Many of Iran's enrichment facilities have been moved to bunkers and like protected areas that Israel's weapons don't have the capabilities to reach.

Also, Israel doesn't have enough air refueling planes as would be required for a prolonged bombing campaign.

Without US assistance, Israel can do little militarily other than kick up the ant hill.
