My favorite part about the first and second season is that they killed off Tasha Yar. I loved it when I was like 2 years old. I love it now. #### Denise Crosby. Bitch is, was, and will be ugly anyhow.

She was in my mind the second most annoying character after Wesley Crusher.
She died a worthless death, she didn't sacrifice herself, or defend someone to the death.
The only thing missing was a clever catch phrase by the tar monster like "Eat Ectoplasm worthless woman" or "Bet you wished you'd worn a red shirt today %%%%%"
She was the second most annoying person on that show beyond Wesley, she was also useless as her own daiughter being completely duped and her really ######ed plan for conquoring Vulcan being foiled by Spock and Picard before they stopped at Burger King for a Whopper.
I'll probably go and check this out, but my original opinion stands, TNG was the second best modern Star Trek Series ever created, fourth best if you include the original and the 70's animated cartoon series.
The only reason why it finished ahead of Voyager and Enterprise was because those series were simply terrible.
TNG became even worse when it went from being an ensemble SCI Fiction show to becoming the Picard and Data Show

Not sure if VIP tickets are worth the $300 but I think I might get the full weekend pass this time around.
I heard on the radio that tickets aren't on sale for that reunion thingy yet - just the regular expo. Tickets are up in about a month's time? Not sure but Feb 18 sticks in my head.

Ya, I stopped liking her when she cried for being thrown in the penalty box by Q.
I don't really understand the ticketing scheme here. Is this part of the Comic Expo, i.e. do I have to pay to get into Comic Expo and the extra for the TNG reunion, or are they mutually exclusive? I hope I don't need to get a VIP pass. Are the autograph line-ups pretty bad?
If I bring kids, I think they might get a bit bored waiting around for autographs with me.
Autograph lines for the high end celebrity types are always bad.
Your better off searching for autograph lines for the train wreck actors and actresses who's careers ended in the 70's due to a drunk driving/gerbal murder spree.
They'll spend all the time they need with you, and even follow you home for dinner.
Since your not going to have an easy time meeting your fav celebrities you might as well admire the scenary
I used to think people who stood in line to meet celebrities were misguided. Then my buddy sent me a pic of him with his arm around Summer Glau at Comic Con (last year?) and I immediately changed my mind.

Ain't It Cool is carrying this story now. Calgary is going to be geek heaven.
Like I said earlier in the thread, this is a pretty big get for the Calgary Expo. I'm sure as the show approaches you'll hear stories about Trek geeks from afar travelling here just for this.
