you're on Daragon Trail right? try to find guys in the Kindread guild. Calgary based, and i have a buddy who guilded with them in WoW and says they're a great group of guys
I've been in Kindread for like 3 weeks at least and not really impressed. Hardly any guild chat when I'm online in the evenings and it seems like as soon as I hit 50 all the other 50s disappeared to roll alts so I haven't been able to do any 50 Flashpoints or hard modes with them. Thinking of /gquitting actually, though I have nowhere else lined up or anything.
Just finished Chapter 2 with my Sith Warrior, if the writing quality is the same with the other character stories then the game is well worth the price.
I've no propelled fatso midget eater to the Sith Council.
And we're off to make war.
I've got all of my companions now, I'm sitting at level 42, and have cool armor and a nifty lightsaber that does some pretty major damage.

Spoiler!
Sent me on a mission in Quesh where I had to stop rebels from mining a Imperial base. Unfortunately his new apprentice had the detonator admitted that I was becoming a threat and tried to bury me in the Cave
I was genuinely pissed at this, which is a good thing.
It totally made sense and now lets me look forward to my vengeance.

Howdy, ive been checking in on this game since its release and more and more I want it. But I dont want to have to buiy a whole new rig to play it.
Can someone let me know if what i have will run SWTOR?
AMD Phenom2 N850 Tri-core 2.2Ghz
4GB Ram
AMD M880G with ATI Radeon HD 4250
Will this game run like a slug on my Laptop or should I just wait until I can afford something bleeding edge?
Thanks
I recently bought a refurbished PC with AMD athlon quad-core something-or-other, 6 GB Ram and a Radeon HD 4200. Completely unplayable. Spent $100 on a Radeon HD 6570, now I'm rocking skyrim with 'high' graphics and can't complain.

You’re in for a treat, such a great story line.
I have been 50 for about 2 weeks now. My Jugg is in mostly 124-126 PVE gear, which I got by doing dailies and getting armor mods and enhancements as rewards. Crafted a couple rakata pieces for myself... I'm also doing Hard Modes with the guild, and a little PVP. The end game is definitely a typical MMO grind. But with content coming possibly every couple months there is going to be lots to do. Tons I have yet to see. I'm not super hardcore and I will take my time in my casual guild. I do miss my story now that its done, I think that’s why so many roll Alts, but I am enjoying end game. Illum's a mess and stupid right now so I just ignore it.... lots more to see/do.
I have every datacron in the game now... that was a good time sink, lol.
I have to say I did have a real Sith feeling moment last night.
I was on Belasaurus on the mission where you have to tack down and murder Baras' sister. There's a area where you have to cross a massive lava chasm so I worked my way across, and found my way blocked by some pathetic cow faced aaliens that I had to eliminate to get to the story line areas.
There were four of them, so I decided to throw my lightsabre and then force charge in to deal with them.
Of course some loser level 43 to my level 45 Sith Assasin decided to take advantage and jump me. He didn't really check to see but my opponents were all fairly weak. So I killed the cows like I had worked in a slaughter house all of my life, or in other words all of them with one blow.
His companion decided to jump at me, but I hit him with force shove and he went screaming over the cliff to splash into the lava a few hundred feet below.
The loser hit me with force lightning which I easily absorbed due to all of my cooldowns and my buff being turned on. I lifted him up in a force choke and held him there before slowly puching my saber into his cowardly guts. Then I hit him with a high powered force scream and then back elbowed him in the face taking about a quarter of his hit points. I thin used the intimidating scream on him and the weakling staggered and I hit him with a neck breaking backhand, followed by a sundering assault. He popped a med kit, and blasted me with more lighting and jumped in to attack me with his puny double edged saber. I laughed in his face and popped my med kit, and hit him with an over head smash and a powerful blow, then stunned the loser with the Force Smash. Lifted him in the air with another choke and then used force push to send him screaming over the cliff and straight down to hell.
Evil triiumphs over loser.

lol, ya This game is good at providing those epic moments... as a Jugg I feel like I can really take a beating and its fun.
I was on Belsavis and was lvl43 and ran into a 47 Republic Inquisitor (whatever they are called) and it was a good 2-3 minute fight it seemed... I died, but it was so close I could not see his health anymore. The funny part is almost as soon as I died another imperial came a long and 1 -shot him. It was a little like when you hand someone a jar and they open it for you and you mutter "Well I loosened it" but in this case I really did. He rez'd me and we laughed at the Republic. All the frustration of being one GCD away from a win vanished and was repaced with a "Ya, eat you ganking #%!@%"
I have had some awesome fun in huttball, from having 3-4 guys beating on me as I slowly crawl up a ramp to get in range to make that last effort pass before being killed and then seeing the score go up by one while waiting for the force field to come down or using my forceleap to an enemy or intercept to a friendly to get out of the pit and score... Scoring with a few seconds left for that win, really is exciting and a shout out loud moment. Yeah-Baby!
Don't get me wrong I hate people that will jump you when your fighting a elite enemy or a boss from behind and then sit there and wait for you to come back to life.
So I take particular pleasure as my jugg in beating them down to like a quarter of their health, then lifting them up in a force choke and either strangeling them to death or force shoving them like the garbage they are.
I just wish that there was a way to slow down the impale motion so you could lift them up and slowly slide your saber or blade into their weasly guts and laugh as they die.
Or do an animation where you pee on their corpse or tie their body to the back of your speeder so you can drag it along for the rest of the planet.
I did have another epic kill the other night where I got jumped by a bounty hunter, and I noticed an elite monster just around the corner. So I stunned the Bounty hunter, repositioned myself and hit him with a force push that put him at the feet of the monster and then sat back while he got beaten to death.
