I dunno, I've had to go to the hospital in Mexico. Has anyone else here? Other than the fact that no one speaks English (to be expected, thank goodness for a translator), some outdated equipment and techniques it was fine wouldn't recommend it to anyone if it can all be avoided. That being said I've been back to Mexico since that trip and would have no problem going back again.
But yeah, avoid the hospitals. Go back to the states if you need to (or can).

Ya, cause that's exactly what the insinuation is
I think it has more to do with 3 months from now when things are hopefully returning to normal for the couple and they begin to discover that everyone in chat forums and in discussions across the city went off on tangents about the husband being obviously guilty. The names of the couple are out there for everyone and this guy's reputation could be damaged as a result- ie. he may become a bit ofU a punchline regardless of his innocence.
To expand on Chris Rock's quote- Of course you have the right to say and do whatever you want, but that don't make it a good $&@!ing idea!

I went to sit on the beach. Stressful time in my life, low cash, and so I went to Costa Rica to get away for a week. One of the best weeks of my life. Having said that, I now want to go back and surf.

I haven't pointed any fingers in this thread, BUT to be refused medical attention at 2 clinics doesn't sound great. I don't know the story, but you'd think the first clinic would at least call the hospital for them or something. This is all speculation on my part based on the reports that she was denied medical attention at the clinics.

How could they tell from the video that the person was a tourist? I am not saying it wasn't, but how can you tell?

I don't think you can tell anything yet. Hopefully, she can remember what actually happened.

Haha, the problem with the translators is that the word 'siento' means feel and sorry.
Instead of using 'Me siento' you would use 'Lo siento'.
'Me siento' = I feel
'Lo siento' = I'm sorry
Spanish is weird and barely remember the rules and stuff and it's supposed to be my main language :S

Don't tell me my business. I learned all about the languages Chinese, Mexican, Jewish, and African when I was younger.
Ps. Just in case, that's in green
Pps. I know, like everyone else outside Kentucky, that Mexican is not a language... Hence the "now I look ignorant" punchline

This case gets more bizarre each day.
My intial thought of Col Mustard with a candlestick
I had the husband at 85%
Hook up with another guy gone horribly wrong 9%
Attempted robbery/targeted scam at 3%
Staff member at 2%
Random Lunatic at 1%
Now i am at 75% husband
Hook up with another guy gone horribly wrong 14%
Attempted robbery/targeted scam 10%
Drug deal gone wrong 1%
Staff member at 0%
Random Lunatic at 0%
This has a CSI coming to you soon episode written all over it.

People who get offended for others should be apologizing to the rest of the world for trying to make the world suck.
If this ever happens to me, I want to pre-emptively tell those who get offended for me to FATA RIGHT OFF. I also want to pre-emptively shake vlad hands for guessing I did it.

I dont think the poster was too serious about the apology request or anyone was seriously offended... Dunno, maybe someone was.
I think its simply the 'ol "put yourself in his shoes"/be a good citizen argument.
I for one lose my mind over the fact that the entire neighborhood thinks Im an abuser just because I like to smash the house up and destroy furniture after every Flames loss.
Ps. Like most of my posts, that last line is in green (cause i smash the house up even when the Flames win)

Wait, you still have the husband at 75% despite the police saying there is video of someone else doing it??
