How can anyone argue that the Pats got lucky and Ravens dominated? The Ravens led ONCE at 17-16. They had a chance to bury the Pats and make it 24-16 after the fumble but the Pats D stepped up.

Pats led 3-0, 10-3, 13-10 and finally 23-20. Even if Cundiff makes that it goes to OT.
The Ravens were inept and played from behind almost the entire game.

Pats weren't great but the Ravens were far far worse. How is that luck?

Oh Drake i have missed your top notch contribution to the board. Also good to see you still keep up with the personal insults.

You are right it was incredibly smart of Flacco to hold on to the ball and miss getting sacked there by half a second and then throwing the ball to a guy with a Pats defender standing right in front of him.

Because people hate the Pats.

The play where Leach was wide open on an easy pass and Flacco didn't throw it to him. I guess you could say it was just crap play by Flacco but that is a lucky play because the Pats did nothing to force Flacco not to throw it to him.

The Lee Evans TD pass at the end of the game.

The obvious missed FG that was not missed because of a great Pats rush.

The dumb 3rd down play and then horrible 4th down execution but that could be attributed somewhat more to the Pats, still think it was just horrible play calling by Baltimore and Pats were lucky to get Cam Cameron.

Flacco outplayed Brady. The Ravens ran the ball extremely well and easy in that 2nd half. The only place the Pats really outplayed the Ravens was their d-line vs the Ravens o-line. Ravens had more total yards, passing yards and rushing yards. Ravens mistakes were glaring, penalties, drops, missed plays on both Webb deep balls, the check down that was an automatic TD for the Ravens had Flacco made the throw, some of the Ravens play calling. The Ravens left a ton of points on the field today.

I'm not going to say the Patriots got lucky but they got outplayed. You don't back your way into a Superbowl win, they played good enough to win but the Ravens did outplay them and I thought deserved to win.

Some people clearly giving the Patriots no credit for winning, and clearly some Pats fans have their homer glasses on.

But that's all just dumb plays. The Ravens don't deserve to win either cause of dumb plays.

Giants having no luck running the ball at all today. Eli has made some great throws early on but this could get really tough for the Giants if they can't gain any yards running the ball.

Which nobody will deny. The point of at least what I was saying is the Patriots benefited from the Ravens mistakes because the Ravens outplayed them for the most part. You can't really find any category where the Patriots were better, besides the scoreboard which is the only thing that counts. But I think even a casual observer would say the Ravens outplayed the Patriots.

I don't see any difference between what VD did and a Lambo Leap.

I am not sure the kick was a dumb play or Lee Evans getting the TD in the endzone and it not being called a TD is a dumb play.

And yes the plays calls and missed pass by Flacco are dumb plays but not caused by the Pats doing anything.

When the Pats beat the Broncos they won because they played better than the Broncos and made a ton of plays. When the Pats won today it was because the Ravens played poorly not because the Pats stopped them or made plays.
