No one can convince me that the Patriots haven't collectively sold their souls to the devil. I can't believe that just happened, that was some of the dumbest decision making in the last set of downs for the Ravens. They had a timeout, all they needed to do was push for that 1 yard to get a new set of downs, instead he tries to bomb it for the TD? Really!!?? To miss a kick from that close??? This is the devils handywork.

I don't even like the Pats but your football IQ is low if you don't realize Tom Brady is in the same conversation as Montana.
Brady simply is the best of his generation.
Besides for me he does the Wolverines proud!

I would question throwing to the end zone on 2nd and 1 but Flacco made a great throw and Lee Evans just needs to stand upright with the ball and the Ravens win.
Don't get on 3rd and 1 why Flacco doesn't just put his head down and run for it. Get that 1st down and still have a timeout to work with. Look like he had a great chance to get it, especially with that 6'6 frame.
Patriots still had to score points, and did enough to win. Their defensive line was great in the first half and on that 3rd and 3. Easily the worst team they've sent to the Superbowl, and I'd say the worst that has come out of the AFC in a long time. Shows you how much an elite Quarterback can mean to a team in this league.

Great game... I can't imagine the guilt Cundiff must feel.

Without question he is but football is a team game. Had it not been for Lee Evans dropping a pass Brady would be 1 for 4 in the last 4 home playoff games, playing average or worse in every single one of them.

After watching that document on Steve Bartman again this week, I'm hoping Ravens fans can take a step back and realize it's only a game. Lot of other things were done wrong in those final plays besides just his missed FG.

I think that the Ravens did a whole lot more to hold themselves to those 20 points.
Not sure what the Pats did that was great when Leach was wide open and Flacco ignored him or how they stopped that kick from going in.
What was the ruling on the Evans TD at the end there? He clearly had two feet down and possession of the ball. Is that part of the stupid continuation rule that they put in?

Heck, if Evans just falls down at that point it would've stood as a TD, the fact that he relaxed after catching that ball allowed the defender to knock the ball out.

Cant disagree with your last statement, but I do think this is the best offense they have had yet- at least equally as good as 07/08. Unfortunately, the disparity between their D and O is huge.

Also sucks that the biggest d-bag team and by far the worst fan base in the NFL continually gets this kind of garbage luck.
As mentioned if the media and loser Pat fans weren't bad enough listening to them talk about how great the Pats were before these next two weeks are going to be awful.
Go NFC!

Ravens would have won on that play. Whoever the CB was for NE in desperation swept his arm causing Evans to drop it. Even if he drags his foot it is a TD.
Football game of inches hey.

I would agree with that, it's a different type of O, doesn't have all the flash of the 07/08 team but can move the ball just as good and Brady may have even matured a little since then. If the D gets a pass rush going, they have a chance to make a few big plays that can win games, because their 0 is that good. A very flawed team, but much like the Colts 2 years ago it's Manning and Brady finding a way even with bad defense's and little or no running game.

Are they really booing all the Giants players while the national anthem is on? For a country claiming to be full of so much pride, I'm surprised they would boo during their own anthem

I do feel awful for Ray Lewis and the vets on that Ravens D. They deserve another chance to play for the Lombardi trophy.

49ers fans have been earning the reputation for being ######bag fans during these playoffs.
