Default Happy Lunar New Year!

Mandarin: 新年快乐 - Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái.
Korean: 행복한 새해 보내세요 - saehae bok manhi baduseyo
Vietnamese: Chúc Mừng Năm Mới

What other places/greetings are there?

I've been so busy since yesterday, cooking, cleaning house, buying new stuff.
Doing all the right things

Here in Taiwan everyone says: 新年快樂 which in pinyin is: xīn nián kuài lè and the closest I get to it phonetically is "Sheh nee-en kwai luh" people seem to understand what I mean. Also, this:

Let it get to 0:28 to really give it a chance.

I'm willing to accept envelopes of money if anyone wants to give me some.

恭喜發財 =/= 新年快乐

edit: to further what I mean, Girly put 新年快乐 is Gong Xi Fa Cai/Gong Hei Faht Choi, so wasn't sure if she wanted to put 恭喜發財 or 新年快乐

We are talking about two different dialects and two different greetings, both of which are used AFAIK, or at least I use both. Not sure when you would use one instead of the other. Please educate me.

Mandarin | Cantonese
Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái | Gong Hei Fat Choi = "greetings/congratulations, wishing you prosperity"
Xīn Nián Kuài Lè | Sun Leen Fai Lok = "happy new year"

The characters should be the same unless there are differences in Simplified (China)/Traditional (Hong Kong/Taiwan)

Happy New Year! For all you non-Chinese speaking folk, you can also say:

我是苯蛋 - Wo shu bun dan (mandarin) or Gno hai bun dan (cantonese). Try it with your Chinese speaking friends! You'll be the hit of the Year of the Dragon!

It's a term of endearment. Much like a child's laughter.
