^ A buddy of mine has been waiting his whole life to see Liverpool plat at Anfield. Today he got his wish, and was treated to... well... that. Still a cool experience, I'm sure, but a goal would have been nice for him.

What is Wenger going to cry about now after that loss.

Webb wasnt good, but the goalless draw was hardly his fault. Liverpool were very poor. And yet another draw at Anfield.

No kidding, Walcott and Van Persie scored, what more do you want?

Depth and heart.

Up front and on the left flank we really need a secondary option, however, this is our own making. Arshavin isn't someone we can rely on and until the ACN is over...

The only thing Arsene can really whinge about is the effort of some players. Our fullback situation is just unlucky.

problem is the midfield or the way Wenger wants to play

it's been the best or top 3 at the worst for the last 10 years

possession football doesn't work with an average midfield

that and Mertesacker is as slow or slower than advertised, Szczesny has been almost as good as RVP this year

PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti has claimed he has been offered a number of high-profile players, including Chelsea's Fernando Torres and Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov.

He said in the Daily Mail: "There is a lot of choice for this January market. Do you want the names?
"OK, now I tell you the players the agents are offering on the market, officially or not: Carlos Tevez, Fernando Torres, Dimitar Berbatov, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Edinson Cavani, Fernando Llorente."

Old Carlo isnt doing too bad for himself.

Carlo also said he was waiting until next summer for either the Spurs or Arsenal job if one of them became available

would have been the perfect replacement for Harry if he goes to England and/or jail

I think I’m on the same thought path as you.

In order for Arsenal to be successful, I think we will have to be a really good team as opposed to a collection of excellent players (i.e. City). Gone are the days where our World Class stars can win us matches due to their brilliance, it will now take the solid efforts of an efficient and effective team unit. Our problem right now is that we don’t have enough players are that are good enough to be a part of this really good team, especially after the first XI.

As much as I want to see Chamakh succeed at the Emirates, he is part of a group of players (i.e. Arshavin, Diaby, Gibbs, Park, Rosicky, and Squillaci) that for some reason or another cannot consistently function as cog in the solid team unit Wegner must assemble. What is frustrating is that I believe we already have a decent section of this unit. Although our midfield trio isn’t as good as it was in recent times, with Wilshere in the mix I think it could be functional enough.

It is a good core but, unfortunately, we cannot expand around it because virtually useless players are taking up squad space.

Yeah, but the PSG offer was probably just too good to be true. While Spurs and Arsenal are bigger clubs, at the moment he has to opportunity to run a 'Manchester City Lite.'

Arsenal and Spurs, moreso Spurs want to operate within a wage structure, PSG just fell into Scrooge McDuck's money pit.

It makes Carroll's completely indifferent play (read: crap) a little more tolerable. After all, at least Liverpool made 15 million on the 'trade' of duffers.

Sadly they still have the garbage that is Downing, Henderson, and to a lesser extent Adams to live with

team is worse off at this stage than with Woy last year in terms of points I think

They need goals badly though, I wonder if Kenny will be given the funds to do so after his buys so far have been questionable to say the least

Thanks for reminding me.

I believe that Henderson could come good given time. Adam is a wonderful passer but very pedestrian, Downing has been pitiful.

The problem with Adams is that he is a decent enough midfielder, but for a mid to lower table premiership team, not one with aspirations of Europe.

I have no idea what Downing's problem is, he has the easiest job in the world, hit a cross near Carroll who should score (in theory). The guy has the crossing ability of Theo Walcott without the speed, makes for a completely useless winger.

*edit* I guess I answered my own question on why Downing sucks.

Yes, it's nit picking, but...Adams? It's Adam, Charlie Adam. Jagger, you know better. Not sure why that's so annoying, but it is.

Henderson and Downing have done essentially F-all so far to justify Kenny acquiring them. Adam hasn't been much better. Sort it out gentlemen.

Pathetic display today. Bolton? Really?? 3-1 loss against bloody Bolton!?

This team is really missing Suarez. Stupid idiot and his racist leanings. Talented MFer though.

F me. No CL next season again for LFC, it appears. Brutal.
