Squeaked out the OT win. Bigger news is after being out half the season Selanne is ready to come back.

nice win but the Bolts lost Dana Tyrell with a broken arm

Solid win over the rival Bruins to keep the Sabres modest playoff hopes alive. Joffrey Lupul and Greg Zanon led the way offensively in this one. Dan Bylsma obviously delivered a great pep talk in this one going into the 3rd period to make the difference.

Sabres did however lose 2nd line centre Matt Stajan with an injury in this one- while this may buy them a bit of time to solve the problem of what happens when Green comes off the IR a bit ahead of Stajan it also further depletes our thin line up and this will have an affect on how we think through our roster in response to recent trade inquiries
