Default The sound heard around the world
Sort of surprised there is no post on this yet. Has anyone heard about this sound? My brother told me about it yesterday and sent me the link. I'll be the first to admit it scared the poop out of me when I first heard it but then started reading the comments.

Sure sounds fishy. To me it's just some internet nerds getting together and copy cat'ing each other. The "sound" in the videos sounds deafening so no way an entire city didn't hear it. It also sounds very much like the aliens in the latest War of the Worlds.

Thoughts? Anyone hear internet rumblings about this? The more vids I watch the more it sure sounds like a prank but man, if it was real that would be some scary s**t!

I didn't hear it. I heard some weird sound last night at about 9 PM my time but that wouldn't match up with any of the videos.

EDIT: And this would be a very easy hoax to pull off.

Anybody else find it weird that no one talks in the videos?

If i'm out somewhere video taping something and hear that, I don't care how quiet i'm trying to be i'm gonna let go a "wtf is that??"

No I haven't but that's the 2nd time I've heard someone say that. I'm assuming this sounds a lot like the dragons in the game?

I'll go out on a limb and say maybe it's a viral ad campaign for a movie or something. Either that or a doomsday device.

The sounds are different in each location.

Also, as pointed out in the main video, why were there green leaves on the trees in Montreal during the 2nd week of January? #oversight
