I`m not having any of the issues some are reporting.

Wifi works fine - I can actually see 8 of my neighbours` routers from the livingroom of my house. GPS is fine as I can always see 6-11 satellites at any time, and can walk around without losing the lock.

I`m pretty pleased

I'm pretty sure the Asus TF Prime doesn't support the 5Ghz band...it's got the wifi hardware to support it but it's limited to 2.5Ghz for whatever reason.

So I reset my TF Prime, reset my router and although i'm not getting the reception of my old laptop, everything seems to be fixed. No slow downs, quick response when surfing, etc.

Overall, very impressed. 1080p videos are incredible on the thing.

Are you running MKV files and if so what program are you using to get audio?

Finally figured out the audio...downloaded the "dice player" and now everything works perfectly. As a side note it looks just amazing on here.

I downloaded BS Player lite. It seems to handle everything I've tried so far and is apparently the only one equipped to use the core for hardware decoding (at least from what I have read).

Are the iPad 3 march release just rumors or has it been announced?

Damnit I pre-ordered a TF Prime at Memory Express, and still haven't gotten a thing. I checked the FS website earlier and they showed them on stock online, but I'd rather not wait for it to be shipped my way. Urge to kill definitely rising.

The neat thing will be that later, if you have a BB phone, you will be able to plug in your Playbook to HDMI then remote control it with your phone. Not such a big deal for me as I bought a 15 foot HDMI cable from Monoprice for this, but not having a cord stretched across the TV room would be nice.

Prime has been fantastic.

Two issues that are a little annoying not TF Prime related more tablet related:

1) It's hard to tell what apps are both phone and tablet compatible. I have downloaded several apps that I have on my SGS II that won't work on the tablet.

2) Wallpapers don't seem well optimized. Both resolution and sizing don't seem to well executed.

Anyone with tablet experience have any solutions for these?

For anyone interested in how iOS devices such as the iPad handle multitasking, this is a fantastic video:
