This thread made me wonder if O'Ryan's chips were available in the US, so I googled them.

The first thing that came up was a CP thread wondering what the hell happened to O'Ryan's chips.

CP: pining for O'Ryan's chips since 9:58 AM on February 1, 2007.

That's almost 5 years of rueful wondering.

In N Out Burgers is ok - nothing special. Jack in the Box is just gross - they load it up with Mayo - and I hate mayo. Carl's Jr., isn't too bad.

Middle Eastern McDonald's have chicken Big Macs'. Those are positively delicious. Even if they're nothing more than a double-bunned mcchicken.

For what it's worth, Middle East Tim Hortons have nothing on Canadian ones.

Panda Express - Don't care what anybody says. This is better than any Piki-Ming/ Manchu Wok out there.

Also Del Taco

There are quite a few Carl's Jrs in Shanghai now. The first time I had one of their burgers I was astounded by the weight and size of it. It was also pretty good quality.

Actually, I have to say that I think the best fast food burgers I've had have ironically been BK and Carl's Jr here in China. Better than in North America I think.

I was just going to mention this. My in-laws live just outside Kelowna and the last two trips through I've gone on my own (wife flew with the kid). Each time I time it just right so I can hit the Carl's Jr. in Kelowna and each time something goes terribly awry. Some day...

What! I love Carl's. Bacon Guac 6 dollar is the best fast food burger out there.

I love the expansion plans of some of these fast food chains. Why on earth is there one in Kelowna, and not Vancouver, or Calgary?

Didn't someone say there was a five guys in Saskatoon before Calgary? Just plain weird to me.
