Bad officiating or not....that Lion defense is horrific, and regardless of any calls for or against would have been beaten as bad as they are by this saints team

I don't like the Lions but it's tough to see one team getting all the breaks with the officials.
There was no way that should have been a TD, the whistle blew because it looked like an incomplete pass, halting any advance.

That was a horrible spot in the 3rd quarter, but the Saints are 3 for 3 on 4th down tonight, so I like their chances on that one.

As for complaining about holding? Jesus, man. EVERYBODY does it. They're arguably the best offensive line in football, they might get a few calls.

Thought that was too early to be making an onside kick.

Well screw the great second half I was hoping for.

This Lions team has huge holes in the lb and secondary.

Terrible loss to GB in at the end of the lose really bad now.

Saints @ 49ers next week should be a real good game.

The Saints have been unreal at home this season. I still can't figure how the hell they ever lost to the Rams. Ultimately having running backs like Thomas and Sproles just gives Brees too many weapons.

I dont see a lot of Detroit games but wasnt all that impressed with donkeykong Suh, Calvin Johnson on the other hand is fantastic, as he is most games... Would have liked to see the Detroit defense make 1 play the entire game

For sure next week:
Texans @ Ravens
Saints @ 49ers

Still to be decided:

Steelers/Broncos @ Patriots
Falcons/Giants @ Packers

Those are going to be some good games especially if Pittsburgh wins.

Suh is awesome. He gets a bad rap for being dirty but he is one of the best DTs in the league.

Not one punt for the Saints, that's a good night.

Fair enough, he along with the rest of the defense was torched tonight... New Orleans games plan on D is to double Calvin Johnson and he still gets over 200 yards.. Best reciever in the game

Between him and Stafford the Lions are going to be able put up points going forward. Especially if Best comes back healthy. As you say pretty impressive to put up those numbers when the other teams game is stop Calvin Johnson. Now that he has a QB like Stafford he'll put up those video game stats that Chris Carter loves.

There's no way you can say the fumble whistle cost the Lions 7 points. Nobody on the Saints team was playing after the whistle blew. Which btw was before the ball was recovered which means it should've been Saints ball. So that leaves 1 generous first down costing the Lions the game? Give me a break.

The defense did get torched but tat was because the LB and secondary has one legit starter between the 7 starters, maybe 2 depending on your feelings on Tulloch.

Who needs to give you a break?

Not a lot of complaining about that play.

Excellent game, Lions played extremely tough but didn't capitalize on the turnovers they created. Megatron was ridiculous, but Brees was beyond brilliant again. Pierre Thomas was the game changer IMO, he kept several drives going on with amazing individual efforts.
