Oysters on the half shell...
Anyone have a good suggestion where to get them in Calgary?
Preferably in a lounge type setting....
Any input appreciated.

Fionn MacCool's pub gets them in quite regularly. They are good when I have had them there- nice and fresh, as they should be!
Sluuuuuurp!

Had some pretty good ones at District. Just hell of expensive in our land locked city.

A buddy of mine used to be a chef at Catch. +1 for that spot.

Catch is terrible. I've never been to their Oyster bar, but the regular seafood restaurant isn't worth the money.

Oysters? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Oysters!
transplat99, there's four places. There's the Oysters Hut, that's on third.
There's Oysters-R-Us, that's on third too.
You got Put-Your-Oysters-There. That's on third.
Swing Low, Sweet Chariot... Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex; it's the Oysters complex on third.

Everyone always forgets about Mary-Anne's Oysters, the good thing about that place is that Mary-Anne feeds you the oysters.

Shibuya sells oysters at $1.25 a piece Mon-Thur. I think they're pretty delicious.

Was at Embarcedaro's last night for oysters. They have a daily $1.25 oyster deal. Very fresh tasting, plus your next door to the saddledome and casino!

Go to Winebar Kensington. You'll pay $3.25 there, but they're also always fresh, which is a rarity here in Calgary. Their mignonette also changes daily and is always spot-on.
