Toronto or Hamilton will be where Fantuz ends up next year. Toronto will be pushing hard for him especially now that they have a quarterback to get him the ball

Nik Lewis tweeted last night that he is hearing that Aaron Hunt (Lions DL) will be a Stampeder next year. That would be a big boost to Stamps D-line.

Hopefuly it does happen, because it would be awesome. They need a pass rusher in a bad way.

Another tough lose for Calgary if these is true, also hearing Sweet could be the RB coaching too if he lands there.

How about some Rider news? Well it's not really news but the rumour mill suggests Khari Jones is poised to become the team's offensive coordinator and somebody told me Kris Sweet will be the offensive line coach. Sweet has been with the Stamps the past few years. I have NOT spoken to anybody with the Riders about this however.

Sportsnet is reporting Drew Tate has signed a three year contract extension. Arash Madani to be specific.

Burris knows it is over: Spoke w/ Burris. He knows his time in Calgary is done. “We’re just sitting & waiting to see (what team) it’s going to be" #CFL #CalStampeders
Arash again.

I am a little torn. I have swore at my TV more then once (a game) at Burris for being a complete twit, but I understand and respect that he took us and won the Grey Cup.
On the other hand, Tate has shown that he is ready to take advantage of this opportunity and wants to learn and win.
So as a fan what do you like? The seasoned vet who seems to be declining? Or an up and comer QB who will fail at times, but could make it exciting.
Interesting season for the Stamps for sure coming up.

Gotta give the up and comer a shot.
It could turn out to be a rough season for the stamps, but they need to give him time. look at Lulay in BC. It took him a couple of years to where he is today, and he's got a cup ring. I say give that chance to Tate, and don't trash him if it doesn't go perfectly. Let him develop and hopefully he will round out into that QB that teams want leading them into the Grey Cup.

I realize I might talking to myself here, but Jerrell Freeman (Pittsburgh and NY Jets), Jovan Olafioye (Miami, Minnesota, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and NY Jets), Solomon Elimimian (Minnesota and Tampa Bay), and Khalif Mitchell (Tampa Bay and Minnesota) all have had or are going to have tryouts with the following teams.
I should add sometimes these information could be incorrect.

Freeman will be in the NFL next year. He's the one guy who actually cared on the Riders. Its too bad as I wanted him back
