Sean Penn to make "Into the Wild" movie

Sean Penn is set to adapt one of my favourite books into a movie. "Into the Wild" by John Krackauer. Awesome book about the adventures of one youth, leaving everything behind to go live (and die) in the Alaskan wilderness.

A great great read if you're ever looking for something to pick up.

Penn's a fanastic actor, but is it just me that's itching to see Spicoli again?

That'd be totally gnarly to have a film about an adult Spicoli. The ending of Fast Times was so ambiguous and depressing.

well thats pretty cool, that was an unreal book. Krakauer's books are super interesting, even for those people that dont normally like to read books. under the Banner of Heaven was also really good, weird-ass story about some fundamentalist mormons and their god-inspired murders.
