Looks like Chelsea are after Gary Cahill for about £7M but cant agree with the player on personal terms.

Coyle confirmed last Friday that a fee - believed to be in the region of £7 million - had been agreed with Chelsea for Cahill and talks have been ongoing with a view to completing the 26-year-old's proposed move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas said later the same day that the parties were "miles apart regarding agreement with the player'', and on Saturday, after naming Cahill as his skipper for the 1-1 draw with Wolves, Coyle stressed that there had only been one meeting between the London club and the England international's representatives.

Because the Toures are leaving for African Nations Cup, who wants to guess that they buy Sneijder? As I recall the sticking point between United and Sneijder was that he wanted £280K/wk+ I heard the actual number was around £320K/wk and United walked away. City would have no problem paying those kinds of wages. They dont have a 'Rooney-cap.'
