He has the best set of receivers in the game...just cause you bust a nut everytime he completes a pass doesn't make him the best. I would like to see what Rodgers can do with a mediocre set of receiver. By the way Flynn set Packers records for most passing yards and tds in a game shouldn't the great Aaron Rodgers hold those records.
hahahah dirk "he must be a Sanchez fan LOL"...you probably have to wipe yourself clean after every completion Rodgers throws.

NFL source tells me Phillip Rivers is lobbying Chargers to keep Norv Turner. If it works, one less possible destination for Jeff Fisher.

This year yes! The defence is horrible. Other years possibly not. But that defence is just terrible this year, so if Brady was down this year I would think there record would be opposite.
Could they replace him yes. Chances are not as good. Green Bay is an exception. Who knows maybe they'll get lucky and find another hidden gem like they did with Brady. Only time will tell.
You are one ofthe few fans that is an exception 90% of the other patriot fans not from NE have no idea and only became fans during the good times.

I don't think it's possible to denote a player as best in the game. Impossible to compare different positions. At qb it certainly is a toss up between Brady, Rodgers and possibly Brees. I don't think there is any way you can say with certainty that Rodgers is better than the other 2. He did have the better season.

I think Reid is safe, and that if he leaves Philly it will be his choice.
Norv Turner won't be out of a job long should he be let go, multiple
teams will try to hire him as a OC. I wouldn't be surprised to see Spagnola make his way back to the Giants. Morris will surface as a defensive coach somewhere, possibly Pittsburgh.
Some feel that Fisher will surface in St.Louis, although I wonder if Indy won't try to make their pitch. With the house cleaning going on there, I suspect they will be willing to wipe the slate clean and start over with Andrew Luck. Maybe they'll pitch hard at Jon Gruden since he'll get a chance to start out with a prized young QB.
Something makes me think Peyton Manning will be a Jet either this year or next. With the 2014 Superbowl there, and Tom Moore being used by the Jets as an offensive consultant, and the struggles of Sanchez this year. Woody Johnson will want to do something this offseason.

He has drafted terribly, which has been covered up for years by the brilliance of Manning
I think like you say it's an initial wow, but when you look at the team they have it's not

I agree, Reid is safe. The team finished well, but I think Castillo will be gone.
My offseason wish list for the Eagles.
1) Find a stud LB.
2) Find a new SS.
3) A good defensive coordinator.
4) Sign Jackson to a 1 year deal, make him prove his is a team player.
5) Get a big TE that can catch.

Jackson came out today and apologized for being a distraction and said that he would be okay with a franchise tag. Hopefully he means it, because he has all world talent.

Everything I have seen is that even a few weeks ago Spags knew he was gone from the Rams and Andy was all ready lining him up as DC

Could not be happier as a Colts fan to see the news today. I'd assume Caldwell is gone too. I don't see any new general manager wanting Jim Caldwell as his coach. Polish gas drafted horribly of late and relied on Peyton far too much and it showed this season. A very welcome change...should be one hell of an offseason in Indy

Jacksonville has asked for permission to interview Mike McCoy for their HC position.
