Then try harder, believe me... you don't get a special sticker for pointing out errors that a blind person makes typing on a forum
it's hard reading and typing with my vision issues then to worry about someone being a dink pointing out my errors.

I don't think it has to do with errors as much as not having no discernible point

Finnish medicine?
Also, I most often see Achem as well. Rarely the other.

To dismiss the idea that conspiracies cannot happen is to ignore history.
To name a few off of the top of my head:
The assassination of Julius Cesar
Reichstag fire
Watergate
MKULTRA
Iran contra affair

Occam's or Ockham's, not Achem's. I think the inability to apply Occam's Razor is the single most important defining trait of the conspiracy theorist type.

con·spire/kənˈspī(ə)r/
Verb:
Make secret plans jointly to commit an unlawful or harmful act.
(of events or circumstances) Seem to be working together to bring about a particular result, typically to someone's detriment.
To think that people do not conspire to control a certain outcome to there advantage is preposterous. It's just some of the "theories" out there are even more preposterous.
I have a friend that believes in the New World Order, the Bilderberg Group Schemes and he wouldn't shut up about it. It was partly my fault as I let him go on about it while in a pub one night. The conversation was entertaining but it soon came to the point that I wouldn't let him be with clients alone. He is a damn good shooter but some of the crap that comes out of his mouth!
By the way, did you know the WWII worker camps were greatly exaggerated in order to gain support for the making of Israel and allowing western powers to put a foot hold in the Middle East! It was all a lie conspired by gov'ments and K-mart... Oh and the Pope... You know, the Jewish one... Because he was really a Jew.

Mostly out of boredom, I like to look into conspiracy theories. There are only a few that keep me interested after 20 minutes of googling around. I usually have a STFU already reaction to the majority of them.
As for the Bilderberger's/New World Order, central bankers ruling the world with us in debt slavery etc, I wish it were true in some ways. The alternative, that there is no grand plan or scheme except total chaos is a little more frightening in my opinion.

Hilarity ensues

There's actually no one more gullible and less open to differing opinions than a committeed conspiracy theorist. The irony is, of course, that they view everyone outside their belief set as Sheeple when the reverse is actually true.

This is so very true. But the difference (I have no idea what is MKULTRA is) between a conspiracy and a "Conspiracy Theory" is that the theory is so convoluted that it would need the Millions of Dr. Evil-like minions mindlessly operating their Overload's will in complete and utter secrecy over years to succeed.
9/11 Twin Tower Hijacking is absolutely the most pathetic. How many are there? 1000's of various types?
With the real ones it usually involves 6-18 idiots that get caught.

At the heart of it, those were fairly simple conspiracies executed by a fairly small group, and the bottom line is that they were exposed fairly quickly, because most conspiracies forget one thing. You always need to kill the killer.

It's much easier if you lose your house to blame the Jews and the ways in which they control the world banks than to accept that you're a poor provider for your family.
Conspiracy theories also seem to perform a religious function for many people, in that they serve to provide a sense of purpose and explanation for horrible random events. In the same way that religious people can accept a horrible event by saying "God has a plan" or something similar, conspiracy theorists can point to a "scheme" to provide an explanation for why something has happened.

I thought it would be pretty clear - they are looking for the Holy Grail, naturally.
