Default New Year's eve in Calgary

Hi all,

Seems like it's gonna be pretty boring New Year eve for me...what is everyone doing for New Years? Anyone know a good fun place to hang out and hopefully pick up some chicks? )

I still got two episodes to go... that's a good idea.

The lady and I are going to go to a friends of mine, at 12:05 I will say it's time to go and we will leave. I'm not a big New Years person. Should be a good crowd there, which will make it easier to sneak out.

Going out to a Pub. Haven't done that in probably 15 years. Wife will have one drink and I'll probably have eight. Home by 1:30 I think.

Not having a Flames game to go to has really screwed up my planning. Don't know what to do.

Going to the Russia Sweden game, other than that no idea. Don't want to pay $20 for some ticket to a club or anything like that

Working from home all night - ya, i'm hardcore like that. I may sneak to the neighbors for a quick drink then back to the grind.

Didn't even think of it until yesterday, when one of the lady killer, twenty somethings at work asked what I was up to. GF is working the night shift, so apparently I am at his house party, and apparently the girl to guy ratio is going to be 2 to 1 for this one. I do know this kid has definitely got game, so I don't doubt it. Supposedly it is a V-neck themed dress code, faux hawks are preferred but optional....lol.

Problem 1, half these girls are apparently customers of ours.

Problem 2, I am going to be 10-15 years older than all of them.....wait, that's not a problem, thats how I roll anyway.

If I'm even awake at midnight I'll be terribly surprised.

NYE is the most pointless night of the year.

The year on the calendar is changing.

Wow.
