Everyone should look into the Bloody Beetroots too. They do a couple mashups, and their original stuff is great too.

I was recently alerted to the fact that there are websites out there that convert YouTube videos to mp3 files - makes for a great source of music.

Unfortunately, I think it's here to stay.

The effect comes from cranking the autotuner to the max. A lot of things are "auto-tuned" but you can't tell because it's done very tastefully, and not a raging hard-line correction.
