I thought he played well except for that bad giveaway. I think he's still getting used to his new linemates. The Swiss have quite a few players that has skill with the puck but no pure snipers from what I could tell. They couldn't capitalize on their chances.

Sven had made a few nifty plays last night. Showed off his awareness on multiple occasions and was close to scoring or getting a rebound assist on one streaking opportunity in the 2nd. Russian goalie was a wall the entire game, though.
As far as the Swiss team as a whole, I thought they controlled the play for the majority of the game and matched the speed of the Russians well. Should have faired better, but again, came up against some grade A goaltending.

The Swiss couldn't pass the puck worth beans in the offensive end and (obviously) had no finish. The Russians were clearly out for a Sunday skate, they weren't interested in expending any energy at all in that game.

Sven was clearly the most skilled player on the Swiss but didn't have much to work with on his team vs a much more more better skilled, coached Russian team.
The Russian team had far too much depth throughout to really allow Sven to judged as a fan.
From what he has done in Portland is a more fair accurate evalution.

This dude is trying to be a smartass because he thinks he knows something that I don't. It's one thing to be rude, but another to be rude and plainly wrong - I'm not going to sit here and take flack from him.
If the original comment wasn't meant to be condescending, then I shouldn't have been so harsh. I interpreted it in a condescending tone, though. Regardless, he's still wrong about what ignorant means.

Dude I posted that in like 2 seconds as a one word post, who really cares what the definition is. Plus I am pretty sure its common knowledge what ignorant means.
