Default Destroyed WJC Ticket. Options?

I learned today having your girlfriend do your laundry has a price. That price is replacing your brand new wallet, a Christmas item that can't be returned as the receipt is now in the City of Calgary sanitation system, and a World Junior Sweden vs. Switzerland ticket down the drain... literally.

I hit her a bunch, but it didn't seem to solve anything.

Wednesday I'm supposed to be going to the Sweden vs Switzerland game with my dad who gave me a ticket for Christmas (he still has his). I'm assuming I'm toast now that the original is gone, but should I be able to pick up a fairly cheap single, especially if I show up at the game just after it's started? Is the best place still the LRT station?

If anyone is selling a single to that game I'll buy it off you, and you don't even have to sit by me, you can use my seat as a coat rack.

In Ottawa in 2009 there was a number you could call and there was a $10 replacement fee for lost or destroyed tickets.

I imagine there is something similar in Calgary. Can you contact customer service? Try Flames customer service if you can't find a number.

Were they originally purchased byyour dad? If so, find theWJHC account online and print the PDF for a $2 admin fee.

If you know the seat location you should be able to get your ticket replaced for free. I completely lost Canada vs. Denmark tickets last week and had them reprinted.

I'd say try the Flames office and if that doesn't work, try the Oilers office. If that doesn't work (although it really should), PM me.

I found a single on hockeycanada.ca for $5.75 + $5 service charge, so $10 to not have to track down the original account holder or bug Sidney Crosby's Hat. Works for me!

Assuming you don't want to ask your dad for a reprint; yes there was no shortage of scalpers at the C-Train station last night. Bronco dud wasn't there, but his buddies were.

Edit: I should read the entire thread first :P

Funny we saw him at the Vancouver Olympics scalping. Made me smile.
