Listen to the $400 headphones compared to the $100, night and day difference.

If you say so.

I think the one thing we can both be happy about is that I wont be in line in front of you buying $400 earphones.

This Boxing Day stinks. I waited a few months to replace my half decade-old laptop, and passed on some great deals from Dell, hoping that the 26th would yield even better offers. But what is out there now is ...lackluster.

I guess that's what you get for delaying gratification.

Oh, and screw Staples for backpedaling on their $99 XBox and labeling it a price error.

So I had an email from them this morning saying my order was received. Then I get an email this afternoon saying there was a problem with the credit card. So I called them up and got a rude CSR who told me they tried 3 times and to check with my bank and hung up. Check with my bank and they don't show Future Shop trying to take a payment.

Called Future Shop back and he told me to call my bank back and tell them the time it didn't go through.

Called Future Shop back again and despite me checking my credit card info several times last night somehow they tried to charge Amex and I have a Visa. The CSR this time was totally useless and took about 20 minutes and in the end switched it to Visa and put the payment through. I told him several times that there should also be 3 gift cards applied and he agreed.

So I just check the Future Shop website a few minutes ago and the useless rep cancelled 2 of my 3 gift cards I had applied and charged my credit card for more than I had put the order through for last night. So I'm on the phone with them again and now this guy is trying to figure out how to get the 2 gift cards applied back. I told him he just has to credit $50 back to my Visa but he put me on hold for 10 minutes now.

Just came back on and apparently there is nothing he can do about it and told me to wait until I get my package. Apparently he can't credit back my card, can't issue me 2 new gift cards, says there are no supervisors I can talk to, blah blah blah blah blah.

On hold again......

*phone call has reached 30 mins now

**40 mins - will have supervisor call me back in next 24 hrs.

Shouldn't be that difficult, all they have to do is credit me back $50. They should have all the info when they look me up and read the notes from the several times I've had to call today.

There's a mastercraft 419 piece socket set on at canadian tire for $199 regular $699.

I don't need one, but maybe someone else might

Alright, just put the kid to bed, now I'm off to line up for the midnight opening at Adults Only Video. Some real good deals on used videos this year!

Picked up a 2TB external hard-drive as I filled up my 250GB and my 1TB. No porn either, just a ton of tv shows.

Going to pick up some memory for the computer tomorrow, but other than that there are really no good deals this year.

Anyone care to guess what time bestbuy will sell out of their xbox 360 deals?
They open at 6am, but i would rather not go that early.

I don't know how many people will buy them, but they'll probably have like 40-50+ on hand, but I'd still go like 7-8 AM.

Usually at 6am you still get like 400-500 people lining up, so I'd go early.

I'm debating on trashing my old xbox and buying a new one... except I don't play it at all. Great price though

Yeah, I have an older 360, and I'm constantly living in fear of the red ring of death.
I play it a lot though, so I figured now would be a great time to get a second one just in case.

for you guys with dying xboxs, what about waiting till eb games does the trade-in towards a new system @ $100 value. Basically give your non red ring of death xbox and pay whatever extra for a modern built one.

I have been wanting to ditch Rogers and go with a new provider for some time now, if anyone knows of a deal that is cheaper than normal tomorrow for cellplans or nexus galaxy phone let me know please.

There should be a lot of 360's imo, last year they were 99 bucks and I was able to walk in at 2pm to pick 1 up.

Does anyone know of any decent sales for dressy/work clothes? Like sport coats, slacks, maybe shoes etc.

I'm looking for a new monitor, preferably something larger like 25-27" but I'm not seeing any smoking deals online, mostly just $50 off at the most, anybody else looking have better luck?

Banana Republic is doing a 50% off sale today. Was in the Deerfoot Meadows outlet in Xmas eve and the selection was still decent.
