Rivers must have sex at the end of November every year, hence why he plays well in December.

Crazy how the Steelers go from the 5 seed to a potential 1 seed. Seems like the Ravens just can't get over that hump to go from really good team to great team.

The Ravens will go nowhere until they get an adequate QB. Flacco has proven time and time again that he just isn't good enough.

Their window is closing, if I were them I'd go for Peyton and try to make a run and win a few Super Bowls in the next 2/3 seasons

Ok last night I had made my picks for my football pool that I am in at the last minute pretty much. I was out all day and wasn't able to keep track and I couldn't even remember what teams I had picked. So now I get home and see I am in 1st place with 11. Their is 3 other teams with 10, I have no idea who they picked for the Monday nighter. I am guaranteed at least a tie for 1st place, but I want the title all to myself, so of course Im sitting here trying to figure out if I should just stick with what I originally picked or change my pick.

Right now I have Pittsburgh at +1.5, but I hear Big Ben might be limited. What should I do, should I keep the pick or change it to San Fran.

Whenever I get 1st place in this pool its always with 3 or 4 other people so the pot isnt as big, I want this one all to myself. More importantly I can rub it in my dads and brother in-laws faces.

Tim Tebow, Broncos Get Visit From Jesus During SNL Skit

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/1...medy&ir=Comedy

Jesus reveals to the team that he has indeed been helping them during the fourth quarter -- but certainly is not responsible for all that terrible play earlier in the games -- throughout the team's winning streak. He then asks Tebow to "take it down a notch" and reveals that He actually prays to Broncos kicker Matt Prater -- who has certainly been saving this team in a more terrestrial sense.

Oh, and for those hoping that the Broncos will keep on winning this week, Jesus informs the team that he's got some Christmas shopping -- actually, birthday shopping -- to do on Sunday and won't be able to help against Tom Brady and the Patriots. Bettors, take note.

Roethelsberger likes to make sure everyone knows he's hurt.

Sure, he's a tough guy, but got a bit of an ankle sprain, and its off an on daily as to if he's going to play. He certainly milks his injuries (this, and others) for all their worth and more.

He'll play (especially now with the BAL loss), and the MNF crew will be falling over themselves as if he had a broken leg last week.

Chargers looked good today against one of the best defenses in the game

I'm a Steelers fan tonight, I'm praying to the boozing/indecent exposure/helmetless motorbiking gods that Big Ben plays. A win and suddenly N.O. is holding the #2 seed.

The triple 8 thing in the NFC East could easily happen. But it wouldn't mean a bad team is coming out there. I don't think any team would be excited about playing the Cowboys, Giants or Eagles.

Cause they would be scared you get them on the week where they decide to show up and play. One week they can play with/beat anybody and the next they look like they couldn't beat anybody.

Some really bizarre games going on week to week. Almost Serie A like.

God, the Eagles are going to kill me by the end of the year. 6-8, and still have a slim shot at the division. This weekend likely decides the NFC East. Cowboys win and they're in. Eagles and Giants win, then the Eagles are out and the Giants control their own destiny.

This coming Saturday should be an interesting day. It's crazy to think that two teams with 6-8 records still have a chance at the playoffs. Suddenly the San Diego Chargers might just be a dangerous team again.

Look at the QB's in the AFC this year (because if I don't put in this disclaimer some Colt fan will go off on a tangent about Manning)...Tom Brady is by far the best one, but after him you have Roethlisberger, but who else on the list is better than Rivers? Plus Rivers with a healthy Gates, and Floyd to throw to, is arguably as good or better than Roethlisberger. Get a hot QB in the playoffs against teams who aren't great at the position and who knows.

Not to mention there is still a possibility that 8-8 could still have you in line for a WC spot in the AFC. The Bengals lose to Arizona who have been better lately, and the Steelers, combined with the Jets losing to the Giants and in Miami. You get that 4 way AFC West tie of 8-8 teams, plus the Titans finishing with that record it could be nuts. 7 teams with the same mediocre record and two of them make the playoffs.

NE's offensive strategy has been awesome this year- they have their go to guy for several weeks, other teams respond with double coverage, and Belichick takes advantage of the gap on defense by switching to someone else. First it was Welker, then Gronkowski lit it up for several weeks. Hernandez seems to be the new target for Brady- wouldnt be surprised if this sticks for the next couple games. Imo, they are as deep offensively as '07.

Ochocinco still looks like he doesnt know half the plays. I think Welker will be fine as a deep threat in the postseason, but i wish ochocinco would wise up as he still has a lot to offer. Branch was out yesterday and Ocho still only had 1 reception.
