While RCMP said at a 10 a.m. press conference that they had no suspects, the mayor of Claresholm, David Moore, told QMI Agency officers had assured him they had in fact had arrested someone.

So I guess the question now is, how'd this end up on the shoulder of hwy 2. Did he chase them down? Scary.

RCMP are remaining tight lipped on exactly what happened on scene.
They have mentioned a domestic dispute, but they are not ruling anything out in the crime.
Residents of Claresholm are very worried about the scene and they're looking for answers and are given nothing by rumours.

Is that 6 total or is one of the dead included in those taken to hospital, for 5 as total involved?

RCMP really need to get their story straight. Apparently it's 3 dead at the scene (one of those 3 was the shooter) then a 4th died later in hopsital, and a 5th is in hospital recovering. So 5 people involved, 4 are dead, one is recovering.
