If they traded Paul and made the deal, that crap can't be pulled. This deal better go through, if they agreed to a trade reengaging on it the Hornets should be charged.

Marc Stein from ESPN just tweeted
One source close to the three-team Chris Paul trade talks just told ESPN.com: "The deal is off."

What crap - if the deal was to Boston there wouldn't be an issue - I hope Jerry Buss sues the league if they renege on an agreed to deal

Complete and utter BS. The other team simplit didn't put together a better deal, we traded 2 big men not a couple of bums for Paul is a fair deal.

I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the reactions and what the hell the NBA is going to do here. This is hilarious!

I still don't get how this was squashed - the Lakers gave up Gasol/Odom - it's not like they traded Paul for Luke Walton and Derek Fisher.
On the day the Angels spend 370 million dollars on Pujols/Wilson, sports radio is jammed with irate callers ready to hunt down Cuban (not sure why) and Stern.

Was Odom really on the radio pretty much in tears?

This is the same NBA that let the Lakers get Gasol for Kwame F'ing Brown. I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for Lakers fans tonight!

This was actually a good trade, much better then what was being offered. NBA owners are idiots. Fold the league.

^ Perhaps Cuban is the fall guy for starting a mini-revolt? It's not the first time he's apparently muddled in other teams' affairs. Remember the Raptors and Chandler?

What a joke this has turned out to be. Now Lamar Odom is crying on radio, then says he wont come to camp. Good job Stern you idiot.

ESPN reported that Mark Cuban was the one who had the biggest protest out of all the owners and pushed heavily to Stern not to allow the deal.
