People are louder at a funeral home? Good hyperbole.

I spend about half of my time in Calgary and half in Vancouver. To say there is nothing to do and no good restaurants in Calgary is absurd. As a former sous chef, in my opinion Calgary has better restaurants than Vancouver. I've never been to Toronto or Montreal, so I can't compare them to there.

Just because Toronto may have a better entertainment district, doesn't mean another city's isn't good as well. I would assume Toronto would be better, since it is closer to New York, has more people and seen as a hub for film and art people.

Concerts are only country or rock? I didn't think that was a problem.

If you don't like slo pitch that's fine, but you seem to complain about many things that can be easily fixed by moving. If you love Toronto so much, have at her.

I've been to every city you listed this year for work. And multiple times over my life.

Calgary easily stacks up in some areas and falls short in others.

Great city to work and advance.

I've had Indian, Sushi, Italian, Greek etc etc good in all the cities. Restaurants are fine. We still make the best steak compared to anywhere on the planet.

Hiking is great, but so is skiing only a couple hours away. Great to play Ice hockey outside at local rinks. Hard to find in Vancouver and Toronto.

Chinooks are awesome. So is lack of humidity.

Summers in TO can be unbearable. Vancouver gets a lot of rain year round. Can be depressing. Montreal has some of the worst snow falls you have ever seen.

Calgary actually has a good music scene. If you get away from rap and country the city gets great Djs all year. If you like house, dub step you have FC. If you like punk or less mainstream head to mac hall.

I will agree it is hard to find the night life like Vancouver in Granville or Gas town. Or Montreal old downtown etc...but there is still lots to do if you know where to look for it.

All in all a great place to live. If you don't like it move. I can tell you that the more I travel the world the more this place will always be home.

The tower is bigger? The city is bigger? They have a crappy hockey, basketball and soccer team? The Bills play 4 games there in 4 years? WOW. You may have the sky dome, but at least we have fans in McMahon.

Toronto has nothing on food in Italy. And Toronto is smaller then New York.

Seriously, if these are your arguments what is the point?

Of course bigger city has a lot more going on. Not sure why you put New York in your post.

I wouldn't call the hockey team crappy, they did beat your team.
Atleast they get NFL games there, how many NFL games has Calgary had?
You have fans at McMahon? You can't even reach a sell out unless the riders come.
Toronto has nothing on food in Italy, go visit and see how it is.

Here's a tip, and some grand wisdom from my sweet, loving mother, when I complained as a young lad.

If you don't like it, GTFO.

You actually aren't though. You're making (very poor) reasons as to why you prefer Toronto over Calgary. You initially said "Calgary Sucks", and have yet you back up why you think it sucks, beyond just saying.. it sucks.

If you prefer Toronto over Calgary, that's cool, you have your reasons, even if they are poorly thought out.
