There's another Calgary girl there that I voted for, her name is Nicole. So if you don't vote for Jennifer, make sure you vote for Nicole.

I'm surprised more girls haven't voted for Eric.

Considering that muchmusic's target audience seems to be 12 year old girls these days, he's probably got a good chance.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Maybe I've outgrown Muchmusic, but the way the place has been run for the last couple of years has completely turned me off of it. It's like they are now just trying too hard to be MTV.
Anyways, I think Supinder is the hottest of these girls, but the point is academic as I won't be voting for any of them.

Here's my question- I thought Much Music wasn't showing music videos anymore. If that's the case, why do they need VJ's?

I almost tried out for that at Dal. I decided I might when I walked into the Student Union building to take money out of the bank machine and get a coffee. By the time I got in the door, to the bank machine, and walked up to the counter at Tim Hortons (no one in line) I was ready to kill someone I was that annoyed.
I wanted to get up and say
"OK listen, I don't want to be a Much Music VJ, I haven't watched Much Music in years.... like you who the hell are you (point to actual VJ as I don't know who he was, then say) for the sake of your classmates, the poor people who work here, those trying to eat, and study in the common areas... if you've never spoken in public before, if you're not the life of the party funny, if you've never had a prof stop you in the halls after a presenation and say 'that was a really good presentation' then don't sign up, you won't win and you're ****ing the rest of us off! Thankyou"
Alas I opted to just go to class.

I agree. Even up to 3 years ago MM had some real talent working there. People who knew how conduct an interview. These clowns they have now are only interested in making a fashion statement by seeing who can wear the most ridiclous pink shirt.
BTW, Did anyone notice the Bill Welychka is now hosting the breakfast show at City TV in Edmonton? He was actually in the hotel room next to me a couple weekends ago in Jasper. He seems pretty cool. How you go from top dog at Much More Music to being banished to Edmonton I'm not quite sure though?

I think he's still an executive producer of Much More Music.

Not gonna get a vote from me either. I'm expecting them to just pick another 25 yr old who acts like a junior high kid. The talent of their VJs has sunk really low. The people they have now, even make Rick the temp look good.
And yes, Rachel is hot. I have a Maxim Calender that she's in, and she's still lookin great.

I didn't vote either but I am pretty sure that any one of those guys and gals have to be better than the VJs that work there now. Lord only knows why that Devon guy still has a job there.

Former Much Music VJ goes to CNN:
http://jam.canoe.ca/Television/2006/...421505-cp.html
CBS White House correspondent and Canadian native John Roberts, snubbed by his network during the long search for Dan Rather's successor, has jumped to CNN.
I find it hard to take John seriously, remembering him as a VJ in the 1980s.
What happened to Erica Ehm? And Natalie, the French VJ from Musique Plus?

MTV is going to try again in Canada so there might be a reason for that.
I think (at least I hope because it should have happened about 10 years ago) I've outgrown MuchMusic but it is good for a laugh when you happen by one of those impossibly cheap shows they produce.
What is not good for a laugh is that goddamn Ed the Sock. Is that a tired gag or what?

If I am home on a Friday, I will try to watch the Wedge.
It's the only hour of Much Music I can take...

I don't really watch very often but is he even on there any more??? The only time I ever see him is during xmas when he does Fromage and blasts all the videos that have come out during that year, which is usually a pretty good show but I missed it this year.
I did catch a show on MM a few weeks ago that was pretty funny.. I don't know what its called but they have a bunch of comedians watching videos and doing a running commentary, basically just ripping it apart, funny stuff.

Two of the hottest women ever!.. it's good to remember a time when mm had a variety of videos and gorgeous WOMEN instead of these 20ish looking teenyboopers
