Why? The mall is a public place, she has no expectation of privacy.

Terrible accidents... I can't imagine losing somebody like this.

How about we don't blame mp3 players and maybe put a little onus on people and their ability to look both ways before crossing a railroad track? Avoiding the purchase of an iPod because you feel it'll cause you to start aimlessly walking into traffic is up there with the weirder things I've ever heard.

This sucks for the lady...but trains don't exactly sneak up on a person. Pay some attention.

Listen to ipod and get hit by train: Darwin award.

Do drugs until your body can't handle it anymore and you pass away: Sympathy.

Also lol at all you people who smoke cigarettes. Don't you read the warnings on the $10 pack you buy every single day?

You are all future Darwin award candidates.

That's not paranoid. There are huge signs at all the crossings: "Look both ways for trains. Do not cross when lights are flashing".

I would say that the two subjects I definitely intertwined, especially with the recent discussion in the gear grinder thread.

You knew what you were doing, and it would get a rise out of me. That's ok man. You do what you gotta do.

You are so far off it's not even funny. The hypocrisy in this thread is astounding.

A better response would probably have been.
'it wasn't aimed at your sister and I'm sorry if you miss interpreted it'
but only, of course, if it wasn't aimed at his sister

It's a distraction, if you let it be. It will ruining your hearing, if you let it. I've been walking with something in my years since I was 12, and my ears are fine, and I'm almost certain I've never been hit by a Siemens SD160.

You googled the train model.

I must be missing the hypocrisy because the people killed by the c-train were not suffering from a disease that made them unable to get out of the way of the train by themselves.

Well, you have an Oilers logo above your post. So we're both a little embarrassed, aren't we.

I wish I had more time to post as I'd like to add some insight in response to Wormius' posts. Ken did a decent job though.
