Android 10-cent app deals
thought this could warrant a new thread so that it doesn't get missed. Google is offering a bunch of premium apps for 10 cents each, and there's a different group each day for 10 days. Swiftkey, Minecraft, and Fieldrunners HD are among the group today

Can't see why I would not just buy all of these... $0.10 ea? ...
I use sound hound free all the time, having pro for .10 is fantastic.

Is it possible to purchase Android Apps even if you do not have a device? I know before we had any iPod/Phone, I would always download free apps that went on special like this, and I really appreciated it once I got one.

Signing up for a Gmail account and going to the browser version of the market should work.

I bought Swiftkey a couple weeks ago when they were having a half off sale, but can't be too mad that it's only 10 cents now since I just picked up all the rest that are on sale for 90 cents total.

I couldn't stop... I ended up spending 80 cents in the end lol. Couldn't justify buying Endomondo and Color and Draw heh.
I look forward to tomorrow!

I have a rogers Galaxy S that I will by selling as soon as I switch to Virgin for the Galaxy Nexus.
How do purchased apps work? are the attached to my gmail or something that would make it an easy transfer?
Also, would any of these be tablet friendly? I've been using my HP touchpad with Android quite a bit recently.

Apps are connected to your account, not your phone, so when you get a new phone you can attach your account to that new phone and re-download all the Apps from the market.

If you have both your phone and Tablet on your Android Market account it should say what the app is compatible with once you click on it. It will say for instance "This app is compatible with your WIND Mobile Samsung Nexus S." highlighted in green on the left.

Swiftkey is pretty dam good.
One thing I notice on Android phones since switching from an iphone is that i hit the period key soooo much instead of the space bar. all. my.sentences.look.like.this.
I click exactly where the period is with my right thumb every time, anyone know if i can change to a iphone-like setup?

Picked up Swiftkey, SoundHound and Paper Camera. Paper Camera is pretty cool. Well worth the $0.30 for all three.
