First year mid-terms? Make sure you spend 80% of your time preparing for Division of Powers. That's the one that shows up on your transcript. Otherwise, treat the rest like a learning experience.
Good luck.

Very niec, I like the alternating sched.
I've got the 11, 12, 13, 19, 20. close enough to be difficult. far enough away to have a $600 flight home, 100 more than i can round trip when not so close to holidays

I love the CANS black market.
I strongly believe that you perform much better when you create your own CANS, but lazy ####### that I am, I only achieved that goal about half of the time. In any event, even when I made my own CANS, I still accumulated as many different versions as I could, just out of greed or some sick compulsion.
The stupid thing is that, on most exams, one doesn't even have time to use them. They're mostly just useful for recalling case names (which I'm terrible at.)

I don't go to the U of C, but my exam schedule SUCKS this year.
Here at Carleton, finals go from the 8th to the 21st. There's 3 time slots a day: 9AM, 2PM and 7PM
I have an exam the second time slot of the entire exam period. I also have the VERY LAST time slot of the exam period.
All psyc courses, so I need to buckle down and study.

I went to uni for 6 years.
Plus one more semester, so 6.5 years, because I didn't have a job and didn't want to be a complete lazy bum last winter. But I was. Oh but that was a fun waste of 4 months.
That one last semester made me realize how glad I am to have my degrees and be done. I pity you fools.
Best of luck. But be sure to enjoy your 3 weeks off afterwords. That is something you don't get once you finish school...

How many finals do you have? What classes? Anticipated grades going into the finals?
I have ECON 201, STAT 213, MATH 251, and CPSC 203. I believe I'm going into all of them with A or A+
|
Life advice:
1. Talking grades makes you look like a ######
2. Further to that you've got a joke for a first semester
3. MGMT...would you like fries with gravy.

Expecting a B pretty well across the board. Maybe an A in 2030. Its the group projects all due at the end of the week thats killing me now. I love it when your group decides to do nothing...

I usually bring extra erasers if you forget yours.

I dont believe in erasers, I just have a few more beers and all my mistakes just magically disappear....

Just wrote a masher of an Advanced Corporate Finance exam at the UofA. I still can't figure out why the prof insists on having 10 possible answers for each multiple choice question set up like this:
a) Possible Answer
b) Possible Answer
c) Possible Answer
d) Possible Answer
e) some combination of a,b,c,d
f) some combination of a,b,c,d
g) some combination of a,b,c,d
h) some combination of a,b,c,d
i) all of the above
j) none of the above.
Hurray for the low (30%) average.
