I'm still a bit confused - why did we get a notice from bylaw for parking on 15th Avenue SW then? The notice said that it was a snow route, but the website says it is just a Priority 2 route...

Sorry, I feel a bit dense about this!

Good question, I have no idea. According to the map, there isn't a ban on 15ave SW.

Try calling 311 and ask them?

This is a bit aggravating, I am in a snow zone and made the effort to move, yet the ban is lifted and they did not plough the street.

Yeah a friend of mine is in Sunalta and did the same thing. Moved her car a few blocks away for a couple days and her street didn't get plowed.

There's a joke in there that will get me banned.

My street is one, the plow came but instead of the snow bank being next to where my car would be parked it is where I would normally park and I have to clear a spot. It isn't even right to the curb. I would guess the plow came by and did two passes. And the signage sucks. I am on 33 St SW and there is one sign close to 17 Ave and then nothing, even though the entire road from bow trail to richmond is a snow route.

They plowed the street near us before the ban was implimented, so there were a bunch of cars still on the road.

bumpity bump bump

Alderman John Mar got a ticket yesterday for a snow route infraction, blames it on poor signage.

The cynical part of me wonders if Mar got a ticket on purpose just to get in the news more.

I tried to vote him out in the last election, sorry everyone...
